Positive: Lovely family and all the staff were super friendly, can’t beat going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean, total relax with tasty food, fab breakfasts and fresh local fish. Positive: My friend and I loved the location at the beachfront! You can relax on the sunbeds that are provided & eat and drink delicious food at the beach cafe that comes with the villa. We were very happy that we didn’t book a room directly in Galle. Would recommend everyone to stay here and take a Tuk Tuk to explore Galle if you want to explore the old town of Galle.

Positive: Loved the ocean view cabin. Absolutely made the stay with that view out to the Indian Ocean. Every morning I went into the balcony and watched the sea crash onto the beach. Indika and his team were absolutely wonderful hosts. The food was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka and I’ve stayed all over the island. If you want a unique stay with a family feel to the place then come stay here. I highly recommend Indika Beach Villa.

Positive: After spending 24 days in Sri Lanka and having hit and miss accommodation, I was thrilled to stay here and experience true beach living. The sea view room is exactly that. You wake up and walk into your balcony that is on the beach. 30 seconds later you can be in the sea. Indika is a fantastic host and his knowledge of the country is excellent. Whilst here he knocked at our door after we had turned in to let us know a turtle had appeared to attempt to lay eggs on the beach. We then respectfully at a distance watched this event unfold. True magic that cost nothing. He chatted to us to explain what was occurring. The food was fantastic, and when I asked for the devilled chicken I was asked how hot I’d like it. Little touches like that mean a lot. The whole team work hard and clearly care about the business, the area and the environment. It’s so refreshing… highly recommend.

Positive: Indika and his team have got a great thing going here. So warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived and a great vibe throughout our stay - so chilled whilst making sure you have what you need. We were in one of the rooms without a view which we were initially concerned about but it really isn’t an issue when the beach is literally 30 steps from the room. The room is a good size with good bathroom. AC and fan were ideal. We had 5 nights here and didn’t think to eat anywhere else - the food is so good and great choice on offer. The fish is super fresh and delicious. The beach is so nice and quiet and the sea is good for swimming (once you get past the breakers!). Indika taught us how to play Karam and we had some great games with him and the team during our stay. Overall, awesome team, awesome place. Istuti Indika!

Positive: After an eventful journey from UK to Sri Lanka, we couldn't wait to reach Indika's Villa. But once we got there it literally exceeded ALL expectations. Indika made us feel so very welcome from the off, then once we met his beautiful wife and adorable bubba, we just felt so welcome and at home! We were privileged to share Sri Lankan New Year celebrations with Indika and his whole family, which was just fantastic, such beautiful traditions and pure love amongst everyone. New Year coincided with my birthday and they made time to celebrate with me, with firecrackers on the beach, cake and the whole villa was a party, they made my day very special. The villa is just amazing, literally on the beach, beautiful sunsets and views, more places along the beach to eat and drink. Indika is a professional diver so takes care to keep people safe whilst teaching them to body board, that was so exhilarating! The villa is like a smorgasbord of nationalities and I swear, you feel like you've always known everyone! No one stays a stranger and each evening is different and just brilliant, learning about different cultures and hearing so many experiences. The place is filled with laughter constantly! The food is just gorgeous, beautifully cooked by the lovely chef or Indika's wife, with fresh fish bought daily. The villa is very clean and the rooms are perfect. There's nothing Indika doesn't know about travel, where to go, what to do and how best to do it all. Indika and his wife knew we were going to visit a temple and brought us some exquisite clothes to wear, some given as gifts 🙏 they go above and beyond to make everything special. Basically, this beautiful family have created heaven on earth, a place you will always want to be and never want to leave, you can be sure you will be welcomed back at any time. We will definitely return to see our Sri Lankan family and THANK YOU for making our holiday so amazing 🙏🥰

Positive: Amazing host and lovely Team. The room is just great, a comfy bed, a shower with great pressure and the best view one can have from the balcony, the bed and even the toilet! The food is super delicious! Indika helps you as much as he can...arranging Transports, recommending other more swimmable beaches and much more. We booked 2 nice, have now our third and we really don't know how much longer we will stay. We just love it.
