Only 40 minutes from Austin you will find the perfect getaway at this 'Lost Pines Retreat'! Our yellow country house is nestled down in five acres of rolling pines just ready for you to come and enjoy the silence or spread out and make some noise!!! We have your stay set up with all the comforts of home and luxury but with far more activities at your fingertips! You can come out for that romantic getaway or come out with large groups. We will also offer discounts for stays longer than a week and deep discounts for stays more than a month.
When you come out to the 'Lost Pines Retreat' you can expect to see the following:

- Or use our sheik stand alone garden tub.
- Every bedroom is uniquely themed for your pleasure and we have multiple places around the property were you can sit in large or small groups for your visiting pleasure!
- Every room has unique pieces of furniture designed to add to your daily pleasures including CB2, Four Hands, World Market, Pier 1 Imports, and many others.
- We have dishware for 16 people and all the cooking supplies you need for small or large groups.

Summary: The property is great for family and friends. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and game room. I loved that the state park is so close and we were able to take the kids on a nature walk. The historic district is nice for eating out and not too far away. Lastly, the home is well stocked and clean. I highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Awesome house with so many activities. Great for a family stay or a weekend with good friends like I just experienced. Clean, spacious, private and excellent hosts. Indoor pool was perfect to get out of the Texas heat. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Five Stars!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the house and in Bastrop. The property was clean and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed for the kitchen. Our kids loved playing in the pool and we all enjoyed spending time outside in the yard by the fire pit. The house is well located near lake Bastrop and Bastrop state park and near enough to the town for ease of access to grocery stores and restaurants. The bunk room is awesome. Our kids enjoyed staying in there in the bunks and we all enjoyed playing ping pong and pool. The house has so many things for kids to do! We would for sure come back! I would note to anyone planning to rent the house that it has lots of beds and bedrooms but only two bathrooms so keep that in mind when planning. It worked fine for us as we had four adults (a couple and two singles) and two kids. But it might be a bit tough to balance if you filled all the beds! Also the house is compact so you can hear what is going on in the shared space from the bedrooms. So it makes it tough for those who want to “sleep in” if you have early risers in the shared space. Again, not a complaint. Just something people should know for planning purposes. This is a great place to rent, with lots to do at the house and lots to explore in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again some time.

Summary: This is our third time staying at this property. We absolutely love all the amenities and enjoy relaxing in a nice quiet country setting. Tim and Elizabeth are such gracious hosts and had also put together a wonderful Christmas basket for us to enjoy. If you are looking for a fantastic staycation destination, look no further.

Summary: This was such a great experience. Two families of 5 each came together to relax and have fun. The pool, hot tub, fire pit area and game room were the best. I will say the cell reception was just about nonexistent so it was hard to work. The wifi was available but was spotty throughout the house. I made the choice to stop working and didn’t regret it for a minute, ha!

Summary: This property was nothing short of amazing! Beautifully decorated, spacious, open and so many activities! Elizabeth and Tim were easy to get ahold of and gracious enough to let us check in early. The cherry on top was the fact that there were, not only one, but TWO pack-n-plays AND a baby high chair! Our little family felt very taken care of. The property is also very conveniently located (10 minutes from Buc-ee’s and 15 minutes from HEB and Walmart). We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to stay again soon!
