Walking distance to the famous Inland Waterway, where boating, fishing or just relaxing by the waterway is close by, we are nestled by trees and woods to give you that relaxed northwoods feeling, where you can have campfires with friends and family, you will enjoy the serenity of our vacation cottage in a very clean and comfortable setting that feels like your home away from home. we have a new sleep number bed in master bedroom, queen size and in the second bedroom is also a queen size bed, there is also a sleep sofa in the livingroom , we also have dish tv. We are close to Mackinaw City and the Mackinaw Bridge, St. Ignase, Petoskey, Black Mountain, Aloha State Park, Cross in the Woods Shrine and many more north country attraction for your day trip pleasures. We also have a deck to grill out on or just sit and relax or read a book, just Relax, Rest and Renew , Now taking reservations for spring , summer and fall . This cottage is a mobile home, up dated, very clean and comfy!!! Rest assured if something comes up in your life where the reservation you booked does not work for you we will do our best to reschedule you for another date that works for you after you have made your booking, we are very accomaditing to our guest and want you to have a enjoyable stay

Summary: This was a last minute reservation. It was close to a family member and had Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. When booking a VRBO at the "Tip of the Mitt", one must remember that this is the north woods, very rural, with plenty of deer, many species of birds, and little critters. Our one suggestion for the owner is to have a little better selection of pots and pans. We would consider renting there again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Sue called before we checked in to make sure we knew how to get to the rental then gave very good directions. I thought I listened good, but had to call her back to get them right. She was so patient and actually watched for us to guide us into the correct driveway. It wouldn't have been hard to find if I had listened better, but I really appreciated the care she showed. We are not able to get together often so it was great to conclude our daily business and return to a very clean, bright place and sit together and talk. We did have one small problem, I contacted Sue and it was immediately taken care of. Thank you Sue for sharing your place with us. We appreciated knowing you cared. We enjoyed the stay and would not hesitate to rent again if the need arises.

Summary: mouse droppings, ants all over counter, contacted host and she said she was going to come and help and never did, we had to clean a lot, false advertising, no grill, not 4 beds, no spa whirlpool, calls it a “cottage” and not trailer, just to name a few this place needs to be reported to the health department. we sent 15 pictures to vrbo as well.

Summary: The property is located in a beautiful, semi-wooded area within walking distance of Mullett Lake and a mile from the closest boat launch. This would be a great spot for anyone who wanted to get away from the city, do some fishing and be within commuting distance of many local attractions. It was close to our family reunion location and provided a comfortable "home away from home" for my family. The home was clean, well-appointed, and had everything we needed to relax and live. Sue, the owner, was very responsive and helpful through the entire process. We enjoyed our time there and would visit again!

Summary: The unit is advertised as a cottage-it is a trailer on property next to the owner. While the upgrades of a sleep number mattress, pergola, and kitchen and bath updates are there, it is not a cottage. I have allergies and the dust and mildew drove me crazy. The owner is very nice, we were just disappointed that it was not as advertised.
