Summary: It was an amazing stay. Staff in restaurant is helpful and attentive. They brought a singer with good music and vibes. It is very near the ferry walking and safe distance. Air conditioning was good and hot water was excellent. I hope to return again soon.

Summary: Room was clean on arrival, but was not cleaned or clean towels given during 5 day stay. Nice outdoor sitting area. Nice views from balcony. Nice Continental breakfast included. A little noisy at night from neighboring properties. Excellent restaurant on premises. Our room was the two queen bed room. It was very roomy. I would stay here again

Summary: This was my first stay here, but it will be my go to place for future visits, which will be at least yearly. Room is spacious, bright and clean. I ate in the courtyard every day! Delicious food, friendly, helpful staff and a VERY REASONABLE price. You have to try the salmon - both blackened and grilled - excellent. Management was helpful - starting with booking the room - and throughout my visit. The inn is within easy walking distance to the docks, shopping, supermarket, laundromat, even a drug store! Far less money than a big resort, but as convenient and comfortable as any of them!

Summary: Tamarind Inn is a great place for a family on a budget to stay. It’s no frills but safe and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is an afterthought and not substantial. However, they do offer, for the best price in town, the best breakfast for the money in St. John. All the locals will stop by to eat breakfast here. So if you are a family on a budget, this is the place for you! We had a great time with the Tamarind as our base.

Summary: Price you’re paying for this stay is really about the convenience of being in St John, within walking distance of all bars, restaurants and the marina. The room we had was sufficient for what we needed it for, comfortable. Continental breakfast was a nice add on, and fresh. Our room had a very nice, spacious bathroom. Beach towels and chairs were available to take off property with you.

Summary: We liked the location-close enough to town to walk. The free continental breakfast was great. Parking available if you rent a car. The bar/restaurant on site was great for breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant staff were super. Overall, The Inn at Tamarind Court was the perfect place to stay for our first trip to St. John.

Summary: I stayed in one of the single rooms with shared bathrooms for three consecutive nights in 2025. Against all of my expectations, this hotel was one of the quietest and peaceful places I have ever stayed at. It is conveniently located (for those of us without mobility issues) within easy walking distance of the Cruz Bay businesses as well as the Starfish Market. The daily price was very reasonable compared to other properties on St. John. The only drawback is that the room electricity is not backed up by generators during the frequent power outages experienced on this island.

Summary: I am a older female traveler and found the single room accomodations at Tamarind perfect for my sojourn through the National Park at USVI. It was such a joy to find a room perfect for a single traveler. The location, parking, food, and room was perfect for me.
