Positive: It was very convenient to everything and beautifully decorated. The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. You got a feeling of the history of the space but with modern decor. It was bright and spacious with a nice kitchen. This place was the nicest of all our stays.
Summary: Don’t hesitate to book a stay in Amboise.

Positive: The apartment was amazing. The location, the quality and the space were all well beyond what we expected.
Negative: To someone not from France, the instructions on recycling glass seemed a little incorrect.
Summary: I'd you don't mind lugging bags up a few flights of stairs, this place is pretty much perfect.

Positive: A beautiful apartment on a fabulous street in the heart of Bordeaux. The apartment has two very comfortable double bedrooms and a large open plan living area and kitchen. It has been lovingly and tastefully decorated with lots of original features. The location is perfect for all of the sights and Bordeaux is a very beautiful city!
Negative: Having one toilet for four people (two adults and two teenagers) was challenging at times!

Positive: This is an exceptional property in a beautiful city. All mod cons are included if required but the apartment still retains it's history. The architecture is simple stunning, in line with the city of Bordeaux itself. It's located in the nicest part of the city, close to excellent shops and lots of bars and restaurants. We loved being able to open the large windows and look out onto the busy shopping street. Trams run by making it easy to both get to the property and see the wider region if travelling by public transport. We used the tram, and buses, to see a lot of Bordeaux and trains to travel to Arcachon (well worth a visit) and Biarritz. The hosts Antoine and, especially, Carmen, were very helpful both before and when we got there. I cannot praise this apartment more and we really miss not being there.
Negative: As others have mentioned, the apartment is on the 3rd floor. Not a problem for us but be aware that there's lots of stairs if you have mobility issues. We were happy because it gave us great views over the city and I wouldn't expect a property of this age to have a lift.
