Positive: A beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. We liked our stay there and the reception was helpful. The food was nice, although very slow. Nice reception area and a good touch with free water.
Negative: Sadly I left with a lot of bites in my body. Also just be aware they are not soundproof so it can be a little noisy at some points. A tricky drive for the last 100m, you will need quite a good car as it is steep and stony.

Positive: The construction is environmentally friendly and the design is very cool. There's a lovely view from the top of the property, among the flowers and trees, down over the lake. The restaurant is good and we had a very tasty pizza while sitting by the camp fire.
Negative: The grounds are steep so not easy for those who aren't in good shape! The loose.srones that cover the walkways are uneven and add to the challenge of climbing up to the top. The bed was a solid cement base and a hard mattress so I didn't sleep well. Also the outside toilet might not be for everyone...

Positive: It was a very charming location by Lake Kivu. The staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was great. I liked the eco-lodge ethos.
Negative: The lodge lost electricity and water several times during my two-day stay. I appreciate this might be linked to its ecological energy/plumbing systems but it was quite inconvenient as a guest.

Positive: Solid sustainability practices in place in a lovely venue with great views and friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was good and well priced. Loved the innovative bathroom and compost toilet. Tent was very comfortable and warm even though it rained. Good communication

Positive: Incredibly stay! The photos don’t show how beautiful the grounds are. Super recommend the tents and wandering down to the beach clubs in the area for beers and a swim. All of the staff were amazing at helping us organise everything and the food was delicious - special shout out to Brigitte for making our stay extra special, even letting us come into the kitchen so we could learn how to make African tea - we miss you Brigitte!!!

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Inzu Lodge. The lodge is beautiful, my room was very comfortable, and the view from my stay was absolutely stunning. The staff at the reception and the restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and I truly felt well taken care of during my time here. Thank you very much for a great stay — I highly recommend Inzu Lodge to anyone visiting the area!

Positive: We loved how close it is to nature — the view is stunning and the interiors are beautifully designed. The atmosphere feels so natural and relaxing. The staff were very helpful, especially the caretakers assigned near our room who were always attentive and kind. We also loved the common area in the middle of the property, which has a nice seating space. My daughter really enjoyed the toys and activity games available for free use.
Negative: The bathroom, particularly the toilet area, is quite outdated. For me, it feels unhygienic since its design as old and also no bidet for washing. It also had an unpleasant smell, likely because of its condition.
Summary: If you want to get away from the city, this is the perfect spot — surrounded by nature and overlooking the lake.

Positive: amazing view, quiet but not too quiet, great restaurant
Negative: the toilet took me a bit of getting used to, but it was fine. also, the shower looks fantastic, but the stones aren’t the easiest to be barefoot on. i would also suggest a small safe in the tent to store valuables.
Summary: amazing (!) view and comfortable tents. felt safe and a nice place to relax

Positive: My little cottage felt like I was in a Hobbit land :) The property, restaurant, cottages and even the dry bathrooms have clearly a design and style lover to thank. The landscape and view of the lake Kivu are amazing. The location was perfect for me since I was coming from Kibuye along the Congo-Nile trail with e-bike and the tour company Rwandan Adventures (nowadays Tugende I think..) was near by. Food at the restaurant was really delicious, especially guacamole and banana chips were on my order several times, and praises for the reusable fabric napkins. It is also great that there is a drinking water tank where to fill up your own bottle. The souvenir shop is convenient and the selection gives truly the impression that you are supporting the community, school children and craft makers with disabilities. I admired the baskets but could not make purchases so early on my backpacking trip, but the staff gave me a tip that I should visit Talking through art work shop and boutique in Kigali later where I could meet the ladies with disabilities making those beautiful artsy baskets. Thank you Thierry, David and Bridget for a wonderful stay!
Negative: No card payment option is the only minus, but I believe PayPal, Dollars and Euros were accepted.
