Room 3 is a second-floor guest room with a double bed and sleeps two with a private bath. This room also has access to a second-story balcony and sitting area complete with a desk for work or using your laptop.
Iona Stables and Inn is located on a 35-acre farm just east of Rt 1, at a little crossroads called Argo’s Corner. We are situated 3 miles south of Milford, DE. It is only 3 miles to the Delaware Bay and 16 miles to the Ocean at Cape Henlopen State Park. The Lewes, Rehoboth, Tanger Outlets, and Delaware beaches and State Parks are located just south of us along the Rt 1 corridor. We are located 1 mile south of the new Bayhealth Medical Center. We are also 9 miles south of the DE Turf Sports Complex.
To enhance all our guest's safety at Iona Stables and Inn, we have installed UV lights on all the air handlers that service the house. Approximately every 10 minutes, all the inside air is being disinfected from bacteria, viruses, and mold particles. The UV lights are in addition to the MERV 13 filter cartridges we use in all our air handlers. Just another way, we strive to make your stay at Iona Inn a comfortable stay.

Summary: Everything was exactly as listed. The home was beautiful inside and out, plenty of seating outside to enjoy the weather. Breakfasts were delicious and hosts were very friendly, including Chip 🐾. Had a great time golfing at The Rookery. Enjoyed Lewes and Rehoboth beaches! Would definitely come back.

Summary: Robert & Linda were exceptional hosts! The food was remarkable - very tasty & great presentation. Every day there was a new table setting. The country setting is relaxing and the antiques throughout the house added to the experience. We look forward to another stay!

Summary: I am extremely pleased with my stay on this lovely property. There are horses and lots of decks to sit and enjoy nature. Robert & Linda could not be better hosts. I felt at home from the very first time I entered the door. I highly recommend this property, it was clean, neat and had lots of antiques to explore.

Summary: I absolutely love what Robert & Linda have here -- its different, unique, friendly, fun, down-to-earth, hospitable and just all around lovely. Their property makes you feel like your out in the country, peaceful, serene, quiet... but you're still close to beaches, and restaurants, etc. I fell in love with their baby calves on the property. I would visit with them each morning. And their dog, Chip, was so friendly and a little rebel teenager getting into all the things!! Robert and Linda had great stories to share, and we even got to meet 2 others guest that were just as friendly and kind. This will be a place I will certainly return. I knew when finding this listing this would be a unique experience, and it far surpassed any expectations!! Thank you so much Robert & Linda!

Summary: We were extremely pleased and blessed with our Hosts and our stay at Iona Stables and Inn! Robert and Linda are great people with loving hearts and they made us feel very welcome in their home. The atmosphere is a very peaceful and restful one and it is in an outstanding environment! A wonderful beach trip with the atmosphere of an exclusive country cottage feel even though you’re staying in a large house. We are so grateful that The Lord led us to this place and are looking forward to spending more times there in the future!
