Positive: The studio we stayed in was a beautiful traditional arched room renovated to a home. It was so cosy, cool in the summer heat. They have a lovely terrace view and a beautiful garden with herbs, olives, figs, lemons, depending on the season. The village is lovely and ideally located 15-20 minutes from everywhere. The local cafe/restaurant is excellent and highly recommended. There is good parking. The hosts were very generous, kind and responsive. For our extra long stay they were willing to help us with some laundry. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Lovely lighting. Comfy soft bed. The WiFi is good. Overall we loved staying 9 days there and would recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet, traditional experience of Kythera. Excellent value for money.

Negative: A few tiny things like no pair of scissors, only one cooking pot, and no instructions about where to find the bins and recycling - these were tiny issues that didn't bother us.

Positive: The location, it was cleaned and equipped properly, the owners were really nice, when there was a blackout due to a storm, the owner came to us with candles and a set of cards, to pass the time. One of the owners came and gave us figs from their farm one afternoon! Really nice stay overall.

Negative: If I had to pick something it had to be that the photos were mixed as there are several apartments and we were counting on a washing machine that wasn't in our apartment, but owner quickly prompted us to give her our dirty laundry and she did it!

Positive: The house was very clean and comfortable at a great location with easy access to all parts of the island. We enjoyed the beds, made use of the fully equipped kitchen, and loved the beautiful garden with trees and lavender.... We didn't use much of the air-conditioning due to the thick walls of the house that gave us pleasant temperatures despite the heat wave outside. We particularly loved the decoration with small beautiful objects. Generally, it was better than expected.

Negative: I missed some light and bigger windows, but I guess this is part of the architecture of the island and what keeps the heat outside.

Positive: Comfortable, Quiet & Very Clean. Traditional Island "Kamara Style" accommodation beautifully restored & decorated. Super Comfortable Bed & Pillows. Well Equipped Kitchen. Lovely relaxing courtyard, mediterranean garden, great view of the Kytherian landscape. Centrally located. Friendly helpful & hospitable host. Highly recommend!
