Lovely apartment on 1st floor of 1870's home. Renovated to highest standards. 2-4 car parking and only a few steps into your own private entrance. Large eat in kitchen, separate dining room and living room with bay window. The apartment is in a quiet older part of town. It is only a block from rail and buses. Enjoy walking to the downtown market on the weekends (June -October) or shopping close by. The Bruce Trail is close by. For road riding or mountain biking, this is the perfect location. Horse back riding, arts, festivals.

Summary: The property was exceptional, furnished and decorated with a great love for detail and equipped with everything one would need. A folder with detailed instructions for everything in the appartment was readily at hand. Numerous places to sit outside with a variety of seating furniture didn't make it easy to choose a favourite spot. Inside, the most coveted place was certainly the bay window seat with the lovely cushions. The property is in a quiet residential neighborhood with shops close by and ideal for trips to Toronto, Niagara, etc.

Summary: We traveled to Canada to celebrate our Mother’s birthday and reunite with family. The house was close and convenient to everything you could need. The hosts had everything well stocked and what a pleasant surprise to find a fully stocked coffee station. The place was immaculately clean and well provisioned. Thank you Allan and family for the wonderful hospitality and stay!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iris's Place! The gardens were a highlight with their beauty and interest. We spent evenings enjoying the secluded back patio gardens, artwork, and squirrel friend; and morning coffees lounging in the Muskoka chairs observing the artistic curiosities tucked in various locations, finding something new everyday, including birds using the birdbath! The layout of the interior allowed our family of four plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying family time. With three bedrooms on one wing of the place, we all had our own beds and rooms. Having 2 bathrooms was also a big plus when getting ready in the morning. The other wing off the kitchen includes the dining room and a comfy living room.The kitchen was well stocked - thank you for providing coffee! The entire place is nicely decorated with interests of the owners including photography from their travels, and feels cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. It was also so nice to get to meet Allen and Mary Lynn as well. I felt we could have easily chatted with them for the whole evening. They do a wonderful job of providing a beautiful space to vacation with all the amenities I could imagine needing, making for a very plesant stay. The location of the house is easy walking to downtown Georgetown restaurants, the train station, or just enjoying a neighborhood walk. We highly recommend Iris's Place and look forward to a chance to stay again someday (maybe if one of the local universities gets choosen!?)

Summary: I have stayed at a number of lovely VRBO properties but this one is outstanding! The floor plan is just perfect and the suite is outfitted with everything a single person or family could possibly need and more. In fact, I stole some design ideas and have used them in our own home. I travel to Ontario every 4 months or so and will definitely be staying at this beautiful home again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Summary: The suite itself shone with cleanliness. It quickly became apparent that they had given a lot of thought to how to equip the apartment well. The kitchen in particular was remarkably well equipped. Mary Lynn and Allen were exceptional hosts. They lovingly took care of us during our fortnightly quarantine time. Above all, the varied conversations we were able to hold with them supported us a lot. A wonderful place to relax.
