Positive: The location is magical, Iris is a very pleasant host. Interested in an unobtrusive way. The cats are adorable. A very relaxing place (with lots of books). If you'd like to do things there are some options nearby, there are even some hikes you can start from this location.

Positive: View from the room and the balcony - amazing! The common space with fireplace made the rainy days beautiful.

Negative: The bathroom is shared, as well as kitchen. Did not bother me but can be a watchout for somebody else I guess. Also the smell of cigarettes - the owner smokes. This did bother me but on the other hand maybe for somebody else is not an issue.

Summary: Fantastic view, charming home full of life and memmories, lovely, very subtle owner

Positive: I like the special personal atmosphere and the cosy furniture. The view of the lake is spectacular. The kitchen was very nice and has good facilities for cooking.

Positive: W O W !!! Words simply cannot describe how fantastic our experience was! I will begin with Iris, the owner and the host. What a lovely lady she is. Warm, welcoming, considerate, caring, ready to share her knowledge about the immediate area as well as further afield. We felt properly at home and looked after from the moment we arrived. Iris makes your stay comfortable effortlessly. She is a lady of a house, the nicest possible, and emanates all the positive energy onto her guests. Iris is full of life and full of smile. Will engage if her guests prefer and will remain in the background if that is what they want. Now onto the property. The location near the fjord is absolutely exceptional. Despite few other properties/ camp sites being there this one is different. Located on an elevated plateau, accessible with a tiny effort, rewards its guests with views of an exceptional quality which no photos can do justice. One simply has to visit and take the experience with them. The mountains, painted by the sun rays, which surround the fjord made us want to go out and breathe, all that power of nature, in. Regrettably, we only stayed there for two nights so to return is our dream. As, it was and will be, of many visitors, I am sure.

Negative: Not a single thing.

Summary: Number 1! without a shadow of a doubt! BEAUTY in itself!
