Positive: Excellent bush camp immersed in the local environment. The staff were wonderful and the food was very good. Game drives were well run by an expert guide. The layout of the camp means that you get a real feeling of having no barriers between yourself and the wildlife. There were plentiful Elephants, Kudu, Bush Buck, Impala and other small game. Birdlife was amazing and we saw Hippo, a leopard and other small cats. In the morning many animals appeared at the watering hole while we were having breakfast after the morning game drive.
Negative: There are restrictions within Balule which limit the guides to certain roads.
Summary: A wonderful experience in a unique setting

Positive: most staff is nice, beds are comfy, food is good.
Negative: i have no idea why it has good reviews. Martin is not the nicest person, parsons is a very quiet, small game reserve, tents are very simple and are not fulfilling the standards like an aircon, space, or anything. game drives were very very quiet, which is not the fault of the lodge, i just mention this in case you follow them on insta and you think elephants would pass by or you would see lions. for this i would recommend timbavati game reserve.

Positive: As someone who spent HOURS looking for the right camp, I can't express in words how AMAZING this place was!! I was so pleased to have booked it for me and my partner. First of all, the camp can only accomodate 10 people, so it felt very personalized and intimate. The staff was overly gracious and kind, and did everything to meet our needs. We stayed in the luxury tent, and highly recommend. You were even more removed from the camp and that was beyond intimate. As an LGBT+ couple, we felt safe to be ourselves and we appreciated it. Angela, the game drive guide, was EXCEPTIONAL. Loved every game drive we had with her. Lastly, we saw FOUR of the Big 5, and even saw a herd of elephants at the onsite water hole. It was one of the most magical experiences of our lives. Would highly highly recommend. 15/10!!
Negative: Can't say anything negative about this place. If you hate being relaxed, pampered (they offer massages), and seeing the wildest animal, then this is place is not for you. :)
Summary: The best camp for relaxation and seeing the BIG 5!!!

Negative: Not having access to minimum medicine. I had a strong diarheia for days, and no one was able to provide access to a drugstore or to basic medicine.

Positive: The Team was very caring and you get a very familiar atmosphere from the staff but also with the other guests The food was very nice and the Lodge is beautiful with a nice view on the area and a waterwhole
Negative: The area of game drives is rather small, dense bushes and they can not get to the Olifants river Unfortunately we were unlucky with animal sightings
