Positive: Very homely cottage with great attention to detail. Loved the facilities down at the beach. We took up the opportunity to use the complimentary Kayaks to explore. The garden planting is beautiful and so relaxing to chill in.
Negative: There is no bar or drinks served on site so bring your own. The garage opposite is convenient to buy soda or beers.
Summary: A shop hop from the highway to paradise. Hosts were so helpful and welcoming.

Positive: We stayed for two nights, it was such a nice time! Such a beautiful and well-maintained property, it was a quaint and private tropical getaway. Our cottage was very clean and cozy, the air conditioning worked well. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the table and chairs outside our cottage, and used the grill in the front one night for dinner. The beach area is so nice, and there is plenty of seating for an unobstructed view of the sunset! We really enjoyed taking the paddleboards out on the water, it was very convenient having the ability to use them and the kayaks at any time. Overall we loved our stay here and would come back again! Great location, lots of good restaurants just a short drive away. They provided us a list of restaurant recommendations upon check in which was appreciated. The Square Grouper was great and the pizza from the Italian Food Company was some of the best I've had!
Negative: My only complaint was the lack of counter space in the bathroom, it would be very convenient to have more space to put toiletries! But the bathroom was very clean and tidy. There were quite a few no-see-em bugs all around, which of course is no fault of the property. They did provide bug spray and citronella candles on the patio tabletops which was nice. But just a reminder to bring some bug repellent if you are prone to getting bit :)

Positive: Had a wonderful time at Island Bay Resort. The property is lush and meticulously kept. There were so many nice and special touches. The paddle boards, paddle boat and kayaks were in great condition. Hosts, Sue and Steve, were incredibly welcoming and wonderful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
