Positive: The beach is great, and the pool options were nice. I like that the beach chairs were included with the room, as well as the giant slide.
Negative: The facility is a little tired. I stayed at the Tradewinds years ago, and it's definitely not the same. The lazy river was dirty-looking. Very unappealing. The grounds could use a spruce-up. The room was just OK. Granted, it was a basic room. I have a place in Tampa and simply wanted a place for the night, so I could take my grandson to the beach and have the convenience of a pool and room.
Summary: Great location, good amenities, but the facility is a little tired.

Negative: the reservation information is not honest, since they do not inform of the Fee they charge for the use of the Resort facilities that should be included with the reservation of the room, nor of the charging of parking per day of $25 per cars, nor of the collection of Security deposit. After having paid an additional $215 per night, it was that I managed to have access to the hotel.

Positive: The outside, the lobby and the facilities were grand. The staff was very welcoming.
Negative: The rooms need a major upgrade. I feel that the façade of the lobby and everything before getting to your rooms is deceiving to when you get to the rooms. They do not match the rest of the hotel.
Summary: Comfortable but deceiving for the price being paid for 3 nights.

Positive: The beach was the best thing about the property. I enjoyed the food and drink options on the property as well.
Negative: They had no good way of draining all the water and the first floor became flooded when it rained hard. Like feet of water flooded the first floor. The place smelled wet and of mildew. The resort felt old.
Summary: It was okay, the beach was the only good reason to stay or go back.

Negative: The expensive room was loud, we got no sleep with the bed right next to the hallway. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The shower had little to no pressure.
