Positive: Location was quite far from the Bay St. marina that I needed to get to and taxi is expensive (USD50). So once at the unit, I stayed in there and did not wonder around. I could walk to a store not far away for food. Unit was comfortable and clean. For a short work stay, it was fine.
Negative: Just a bit isolated, but the good price made it worth it.
Summary: Convenient, comfortable, value for money.

Positive: I was a little worried because it was my first time staying there, but the security was good and I was able to stay in a comfortable room.
Negative: It was disappointing that there were few amenities. Instead, there was hand soap and food that someone had used in the cupboard, which was a bit creepy.

Positive: Look, this is a cheap way to have your Bahamans holiday. It's clean and comfortable enough. The kitchen facilities were great, and it was well stocked with food in case you don't have transport to go to a supermarket. I travel extensively in the region for work and it's rare to find a kitchen this well stocked.
Negative: If you are after the classic Bahamas beach holiday, this isn't it. If you can't afford the exorbitant prices for a Bahamas beach hotel, then there are lots of cheaper countries in the Caribbean where you can stay near the beach. I was there for work and just needed somewhere to sleep. I also had a hire car, and you will need one too. You are in a non-descript middle class suburb with nothing worth walking too. The Beach is too far on foot and pretty much so is everything else. Again, for work yes. For holiday no.
Summary: Clean and comfortable enough, with a very well kitchen. It's not within walking distance of a beach.

Positive: The Host was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and very clean.
Negative: I did not care for the neighborhood, especially because I was traveling alone as a female, but the yard was properly secured. So that made up for it.
