Very peaceful setting but close to all amenities and activities. Perfect for 1-2 couples or Couple with up to 3 children. one well behaved dog welcome.
Raised ranch on 2.4 acres. Two bedrooms, sleeps five. Ideal for two couples or parents with up to three children. Separate lower level kids' lounge for hanging out/gaming. Main level has charming living room with eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms, bath & three season back porch. Beautiful views from the spacious full length upper deck. Entry level mudroom with ski & board racks. Washer and dryer.
Enjoy cocktails on the upper deck as you watch the mountain sunset. Barbecue and eat at the picnic table in the large backyard surrounded by birdsongs from the many resident birds. It's a calming retreat 8 minutes to Okemo Mt/Ludlow, 3 minutes to Weston Priory, 6 minutes to the Vermont Country Store, Weston General Store and the Weston Playhouse.
There are a great variety of restaurants close by, hiking trails, mt biking, swimming holes and the beach at Camp Plymouth/Rescue Lake. The Adventure Zone at Jackson Gore has a broad variety of fun activities including the mt coaster, mini golf, disc golf, a challenge course, bungee trampoline, zip line and big air bag. The avid golfer will enjoy Fox Run Golf Course and numerous other nearby courses.
In the Winter it's all about snow activities: downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, snowmobiling. Close to Okemo, Stratton, Bromley, Magic, Killington and Pico. Exploring local museums and farmers markets. Horseback riding and corn mazes. Art galleries and sugar shacks. Ballooning events and myriad beer breweries. Antique shops, themed train rides, glass blowing and the Weston Playhouse. There's always something fun and interesting to do.

Summary: We had a great stay at Kathleen's place. It was very close to Okemo for skiing and Ludlow/Weston for getting food. The place was comfortable and clean, had a nice yard and surroundings. Thank you!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen had everything you may want as far as pots/pans/etc. The property was immaculate and the description was accurate. We would stay here again.

Summary: This house was a super find! The house was immaculate and comfortable. Towels, linens and bedding were crisp, fresh and plentiful. The bathroom was well supplied and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kichen had every thing we needed, all the appliances were like new. The location was perfect for us, we even had snow! We are already looking at our calendar and schedules to book our next trip. We will definitely be returning.

Summary: The house is private and had everything we needed in an uncluttered environment. 2 loving rooms, two porches (one enclosed) to hang out on). So clean and comfortable.

Summary: We spent the month of March at Kathleen and Ed's place and had a great time. Very close to Okemo so we were able to ski almost every day. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. We didn't use the downstairs area much but the outside space was great for the kids as it is removed from the road and far from traffic. I'm sure it would be a lovely spot for summer also. Kathleen was a wonderful host and very responsive.

Summary: We rented the house for the month of February. Although weather conditions were not the best for skiing, the location and the house were great. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs. I asked if the driveway could be sanded due to ice and it was done within an hour. We were close to Ludlow, and Okemo Mountain as well as a park with trails for Snow Shoeing and a large hill for tubing/sleigh riding. Great Vacation. Barbara
