5 Bedroom Cabin in Custer

Spacious log home located on 5 acres in the Black Hills, close to Pringle, Custer, Rapid City, Custer State Park, Mount rushmore , Crazy horse. Wind Cave and Hot Springs .Our home is set on a scenic meadow completely surrounded by hundreds of acres of the Black Hills National Forest.
Log home with an open floor plan, loft with 3 sleeping areas separated by partial walls only, no doors, (see photos). 2 King beds and 2 twin beds. 2 Queen pull out couches on main floor. Lounger and cuddler chair. Extra large electric air mattresses if needed.
Great room has 70 inch Smart TV with Neflex for your enjoyment. Just added an outdoor Sauna. Also some fun for the little ones, a coin operated mechanical horse. For inside fun: Pool table, foosball table, Pinball , Darts, Bean bag game and a bowling machine, internet, computer , printer and phone. Patio's all around house with comfortable seating. Deck off of main bedroom in loft to sit and have your morning coffee while you watch the deer roam. We counted 16 deer one evening in site at one time.
Gas fireplace as well as wood fireplace. Bathroom with shower in loft and also on main floor.
Cabin is completely furnished with everything you could possibly need, Toaster, Coffee and Keurig provided. Dishes, towels, shampoo, soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, kleenex and many other amenities provided.Washer and Dryer. Hair dryer and Curling iron in each bathroom, Dining room table seats 8 to 10.Breakfast bar seats 2.
Perfect for a Family Get Together, Corporate Retreats, Base Camp on Vacation, Hunters, bikers etc! This is a non smoking home. Smoking of course is allowed on patios. Patio furniture on all patios , gas grill provided. .
Sept is the buffalo roundup with a 2 day arts festival.

Summary: Beautiful cabin in a nice quiet country setting. Very clean and comfortable for families. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Great property!! The only thing I would note is that there are not three bedrooms. The loft is open with partition walls in between the beds. Which makes it awkward for family members that are conservative and/or shy about changing or sleeping habits. Wasn't an issue that we couldn't work around. Great property, it was like home, traveling from our log home to yours. Everyone enjoyed the arcade games and the little kids enjoyed being thought of and having toys to play with as well, besides their own. Will definitely book again.

Summary: Jade Pines as a great fit for my extended family. Nine of us felt right at home and the location was the perfect out-of-the-way basecamp for exploring Mt. Rushmore, Jewel Cave and Custer State Park. We encountered the largest bison herd I've ever seen while driving the Custer Wildlife Loop. Unfortunately during our stay both pinball machines and the shuffleboard bowling game were out of order. A big disappointment for us as the games were a major factor in our selection of Jade Pines. A couple of us enjoyed the sauna and took advantage of the bicycles in the garage. We did a fair amount of cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Cookware and cooking utensils weren't of great quality, but that's to be expected at a rental property. There were plenty of dishes for our larger group, and plenty of bedding and bath towels as well. When we had questions Patrick was responsive and friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Summary: It was a wonderful experience and environment in a beautiful quiet setting. It was located nicely for ample day trips. We were very disappointed that the pinball and bowling machines were not in working order, but we had a wonderful time playing pool, darts, corn hole and in the sauna. There were so many thoughtful touches that made us feel warm and welcomed.

Summary: We brought our family to Jade Pines for 5 days. Our kids are 10, 12, and 15. The cabin was even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was peaceful and relaxing. Half of the arcade games did not work but we were still entertained with the dart board, foosball, and other activities. The best part was the front porch where we spent most our time enjoying nature. The host was great and even let us extend our stay by one night. This was my favorite cabin we have stayed at! There were no doors but the cabin is quiet and it wasn’t a big deal.

Summary: My husband and our four children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jade Pines! The cabin was conveniently located next to all of the major attractions - Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer National Park. The cabin was clean, had all of the amenities and the owners were very communicative. Best part - after a long day of site seeing and exploring, my husband and I could relax while the kids were thoroughly entertained by all of the games in the cabin - pool table, foosball, pin ball machines, darts, etc. Highly recommend staying at Jade Pines!!
