The space
Upstairs - Open plan living, dining and kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.
For the cooler months, a wood fire with firewood supplied.
Step out to front deck with outdoor seating and BBQ.
Enjoy the abundance of local birdlife from the deck.
Bedrooms 1 & 2 are also upstairs.
Main bathroom with corner spa, shower, vanity and seperate toilet.
Downstairs has a rumpus room/ bedroom combined with queen bed, lounge and an array of books.
Laundry with washing machine. 2nd toilet and shower.
A Pianola with rolls of tunes. A bit of fun for the family.
Fully fenced back yard.
If you are looking for a peaceful pet friendly getaway and want to be surrounded by nature - this is the perfect place.
You may even see the resident bower bird (season) making a nest in the garden.

Jan's Retreat is located in the sleepy village of Erowal Bay on the shores of St Georges Basin. St Georges Basin is great for all water sports including water skiing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding.
Perfect for a base away from the hustle and bustle of the Hub of Jervis Bay - Huskisson and Vincentia and Hyams Beach.
Bring the tennis racquets - Erowal Bay Tennis Club with 6 synthetic grass courts is just up the road.

Erowal Bay is a 5 minute drive from the white sands of Hyams Beach.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet and surrounded by greenery. Great proximity to Hyams Beach, Green Patch & Husky yet feel a million miles away. Large, secure backyard was great for dogs.

Summary: We had a fantastic weekend at Jan's retreat. The property was tastefully decorated and very clean. Lots of nice touches around the place like plenty of pantry essentials and a range of books as well as local guidebooks. Didn't get a chance to spend time in the garden but it looked like a great space and our dogs enjoyed it. Only downside were the beds which weren't super comfortable. FYI - you will need a car to get to the local places of interest - only local parks and the general store are in walking distance.

Summary: This property was great it had a well equiped kitchen & everything you need to enjoy a weekend or holiday, it was very peaceful had a nice water view from the lounge room. Furnished beach style. Comfy beds lounge room & good showers. Gardens were a bit overgrown very bushy. A blue tooth speaker would be good to play music through. We would stay again & recommend it to friends & family.

Summary: Great central location to nearby towns, close to nearby fantastic beaches and gluten friendly eateries (fish and chip store in Vincentia was great for a coeliac!) The property was very clean and was perfect for relaxing. Pet friendly, however we took our dog everywhere with us or took her to doggy daycare for the day that we visited the national parks so we never left her alone and always supervised her outside due to the wildlife (possums, large and beautiful python in the tree out the back as well as our pups habits of getting into shrubbery in regards to tics as warned about on Jan's ad) The town was lovely and peaceful, everyone friendly and helpful. Would stay again!
