Positive: An amazing house with a beautiful garden and a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here—it’s conveniently located right along the Camino. I would have loved to stay there a few more days.

Positive: Jardin del Mar is a lovely house directly on the Atlantic coast. It has a huge garden which unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy because of the rain. Emilio and Mateo provide food and drinks which is great as there is nothing nearby

Negative: We didn’t much like the room we had chosen for 87 euros (double room with seaview). It seemed more like a room for kids to hang out in. Our private bathroom was across the corridor which was unexpected. We were with other guests who had paid 10 euros more and had much nicer rooms.

Summary: A guesthouse with lots of potential but not all rooms are value for money

Negative: It was one of the most expensive nights we had and relative to others it was not as generous. No stamp. Laundry 5 € a load and 5€ for dryer. Be careful which room you book. Not all are equal.
