Jerrymara is a stunning rural home and estate in Willowvale near the seaside village of Gerringong. It comprises a lovely main Homestead of 3 bedrooms and a 2 bedroom Studio cottage- in total Jerrymara's 5 bedrooms can accommodate up to 11 people. Each bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom and the cottages are set in a private country garden with champion sized flood-lit tennis court and 12m pool. There's 52 acres of coastal farmland to discover in all.
The main Homestead is a modernised dairy cottage and offers 3 light filled bedrooms each with an ensuite, a large open plan combined lounge and dining area and a magnificent, brand new country kitchen. All the rooms open to hardwood timber decks overlooking the tranquil gardens and picturesque ornamental lake. This Homestead is complete with modern features including WiFi and Foxtel IQ3, and heating to all rooms to keep the winters warm.
The kitchen includes a 90cm oven, a large multi zoned induction cooktop, 2 intergrated dishwashers, a Double Liebher fridge, a wine fridge , a Nespresso coffee machine. The Island bench is HUGE, and perfect to gather around (and has spare cupboards for you to put your groceries away)
This main dwelling can sleep up to 7 guests across 1 King bedroom (splittable into 2 singles), a Double bedroom plus full sized day bed, and a bedroom with 2 singles
Additional guest accommodation consists of a modern 2 bedroom (both with ensuite) dwelling - The Studio- with lime vaulted ceilings. This cottage has its own kitchenette (and Nespresso machine), lounge room, and heating, all set next to the verdant country views through wide bi-fold cedar doors. Bedroom 1 is a King bed (with trundle, handy for a child) , and bedroom 2 a Queen bed sleeping 4 adults in all.
Off the main deck is an ‘outdoor kitchen’ complete with BBQ and wood fired PIZZA OVEN!
In addition to the just completed interiors upgrade, we have lit up our beautiful gardens! Every night at dusk, a fairyland awaits you.
Outside the immediate gardens is a further 50 acres of calming rural space , where you can stroll, picnic and are magnificent views up and down the Illawarra coast line from the top paddocks-well worth the hike with a bottle of wine at sunset! Please do not approach any cattle or wild animals ( yes we have kangaroos!) on the property.
Jerrymara is minutes away from beautiful rural villages including Kiama and Berry, and under 2 hours drive south from Sydney. We are a private retreat yet only minutes away from good coffee and dining, supermarkets and boutiques.
Privacy is assured at Jerrymara and we aim to allow guests a carefree and free-ranging stay. We would stress however, that we are located in a quiet rural/residential/dairy farming valley. The peaceful amenity of our neighbours is paramount to us. Loud and amplified music, Hens or Bucks parties, are prohibited. Jerrymara will no longer take wedding bookings, unless they are under 15 attendees. I’m so sorry brides! We would be delighted however, for you to stay with us to prepare with bridal party and family, and take advantage of the gardens for all your pre ceremony photography ( and post if your venue is nearby!)

Summary: Jerrymara is a beautiful property in stunning surroundings. The garden is delightful and the 55 acres sublime. Very comfortable cottages, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Kate the host could not have been kinder, leaving Xmas presents for us and our two granddaughters, and leaving us muffins and wine. Excellent kitchen and first class pizza oven and barbecue. 5 stars.

Summary: We had an absolutely lovely experience at Jerrymara. The perfect place for my family to come together including grandparents and 2 young kids. It has a great living and dining area with plenty of space for everyone to come together but also to have privacy. Even with heavy rain we enjoyed the swimming pool, tennis court and the pizza oven. Kate was an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations for catering to come to the property too. Can’t wait to come back, Georgia and family
