Positive: - The location is perfect, 3 mins walk from the Chiayi TRA station, close to a lot of restaurants, easy walk to the night market. - The staffs are very nice and friendly, like your next door sweet aunties. - The room is old but very clean and pretty comfy. There's a bathtub in the room so it's nice to have a hot bath after a long walking day. - There're 2 water in the room and hot and cold water dispenser outside in the hall wat so it's very convenient to get hot water without boiling it in the kettle. - Good price range for what we got, also feeling safe and quiet at night.

Negative: There's not many power socket due to the old design to make sure to bring extra sockets with you if you have many devices to charge. Other than that, there's nothing that we're not happy about the place ❤️

Positive: Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The front desk staff were very kind and allowed me to check in early. Although the room has an older-style interior, all the facilities are complete and very clean, including a desk, chairs, wardrobe, and refrigerator. There is a water dispenser in the hallway providing both hot and cold water. The location is also very good, within walking distance to the train station.

Negative: The air conditioner vent cannot be adjusted and it is directly facing the bed. If it is turned off, the room becomes very hot and I would wake up covered in sweat. If it is left on, the cold air blows directly onto the bed, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep.

Positive: I love the staff, very friendly and polite. We really got this homey feeling. Very close to the chiayi train station, very near to a vegetarian resto too. The hotel is a little old but but our stay was ver comfortable.

Positive: Nice area with local shops, room was well presented, all facilities were fine . Laundry was immediately outside the hotel

Negative: Toilet doesn't accept paper, need to upgrade plumbing. Carpet doesn't have any cushion mounting, directly mounted on concrete. Bathroom needs some work, tiling is worn but acceptably clean. Bathroom ceiling is MDF board, water seeps into it and it expands and deteriorates. Recommend re lining with plasterboard and anti mould paint. Detector is wired to the switch board - use a local detector only to alert guests. One that calls the bridge goes directly outside the room door

Positive: I like how it was close to the TRA Station in Chiayi and how it was located centrally. Theremay be gaps with language barrier but I love how the employees do their best to understand us. I like how it might look old outside but very well maintained inside. Among all the places I stayed in Taiwan, this was he place I had the most comfortable sleep. Will definitely be back if I visit Chiayi and Alishan again someday.
