Positive: Very nice and modern designed rooms and friendly (partly English speaking) staff. The hotel is located in a street with lots of restaurants around and relatively close to Tiananmen Square (not within walking distance, but only a short taxi drive). Since the rooms are located in the courtyard of a typical hutong house, it is very quiet.
Negative: Not critical, but breakfast could be better. The rooms are a little bit smaller then they look like on the picture, but still okay.

Positive: Jingmao Alley Hotel was an incredible base of operations during an incredible holiday. The exceptional service, friendliness of the staff, overall cleanliness, and comfort of the room blew us away, in addition to some of the most delicious food availble during our entire time in Beijing - this included the generously portioned breakfasts and dinners (the second of which were available at an extra cost), which reflected various Chinese cuisines. In particular, Alex at the hotel was extremely attentive, taking time to ensure we fully settled into our room, and providing us with many useful tips for navigating the city as well as the various apps/services to help get the most out of our time in China. The hotel was ideally located, right on the doorstep of one of Beijing's historic hutongs, along a vibrant street full of shops and restaurants, and a quick walk to two subway stations for easy travel to some of Beijing's most famous landmarks.
Summary: Amazing value for money and incredible service come together in a spotless and beautiful hotel!

Also free laundry facilities. Staff were so helpful and spoke excellent English. Close to a subway line and restaurants and bars

Positive: Staff were exceptional, especially Alex. She helped found a phone I had lost on a taxi and was very friendly, fluent in English and responsive. The location, vibes and the coffee and cake cafe inside the building are amazing!
Negative: Just the room was a bit noisy at night as you can hear other guests walking by. But just a minor thing.
