Summary: Milford is a nice town to hang out in with many places to shop, dine and visit historical sites and lovely architecture on every street and John Wallace House is the perfect place to stay. Close to center of town, lovely bedrooms, delicious breakfast included on antique china. Innkeepers lovingly restored this gem of a house.

Summary: It was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The breakfasts were truly delicious with beautiful presentation- poached pears with pomegranate, blueberry pancakes, bacon and scones with clotted cream and lemon curd. It had a cozy atmosphere in an old restored house with all of the modern accommodations. Can’t say enough good about it. Walking distance to great restaurants, historical sites, shopping and hiking trails.

Summary: Breakfast was great. Wonderful restoration of historic property. The rooms are very nicely furnished. Would, however, choose a room not directly at the front of home on first floor as the traffic noice is somewhat of a distraction when trying to sleep. Would not recommend “Adeline” room for this reason. All other rooms should be fine in terms of for mentioned traffic noice. But would highly recommend this wonderful stay.
