Positive: This place is totally unique. Located on a private island in the Nile, it is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day Pharaoh-hunting. The infinity pool overlooking the Nile at sunset really is bucket-listesque. The staff are all very helpful and the food across the restaurants is excellent. We went in low-season (August) with 2 small kids and the resort was quite empty which added to the peaceful vibes. Both parents and kids really enjoyed ourselves. Yes it's hot to be out in the tombs but when you can come back to a cool afternoon dip in the pool and to walk in the green gardens, it feels all the better. It was apparently built in 1982, so does feel a bit 'of an era' but for me, that just added to the 'vintage luxury' aura. You have to come visit!

Positive: Beautiful location on the edge of the Nile. Amazing facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely big room with good showers. There was a problem with one of the lights and it was fixed promptly (Thank you Lorna for looking after us so well!) I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to a return visit.

Positive: This was hands down our favorite place during our trip to Egypt.. it felt like a holiday within a holiday! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere, lush surroundings, and top-tier facilities. The property is set on a beautifully manicured island, offering stunning views of the Nile and an incredible sense of space and tranquility. Our room was exceptionally spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with breathtaking Nile views. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing by the infinity pool and watching the sun set over the Nile, a truly magical experience that we’ll never forget. For families, the resort is a dream. There’s a small water park that kept our little one happily entertained, as well as a zoo that was a huge hit. Everything is designed to be both fun and relaxing, which made it a perfect stop to recharge mid-trip. We only wish we had stayed longer! If you're looking for somewhere to unwind, enjoy nature, and still have plenty to do this place is a must.
Negative: Would love to see some more space and enrichment for the animals in the petting zoo!

Positive: This is my second stay in this hotel. Last year i went with my partner and this year with a part of my family. Again the whole experience was amazing. People working there are friendly and nice,the atmosphere is breathtaking and the pools are to die for.
Negative: Only improvement i see that can be done here is the food quality. Its not bad but its not great either.
