4 Bedroom House in Hampton Bays

We booked July 4th, but college is calling, and I will be lugging boxes in to a dorm room. We wanted to give someone the best week of the summer to enjoy. Huge porch overlooking the inlet. Pool, bike to the beach, 4 bedrooms all with designer sheets and comforters, huge deck out back with grill and pool. Wide plank floors, antiques, eclectic, fun style. This is the house for entertaining, great flow. L. Train and Hampton Jitney are in walk-able distance; beach 1.7 miles.In the range for restaurant delivery, and we have the kayaks. and 4 bikes Family lives in Washington DC and we will be setting up a dorm room instead!. Great for Fall getaways with apple picking, crisp walks on the beach and cool weather. We'd love to have you as our guests. Being premiered in upcoming home dec magazine! $7,000.00 per week and worth EVERY PENNY.....

Summary: We had a wonderful one-week stay at this great. property. The house was fully stocked and beautifully decorated. Perfect for our extended family. Host was very communicative and easy going. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived until the bittersweet moment we had to leave, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Upon booking, the communication with the property owner was seamless. They were responsive, accommodating, and provided all the necessary information to ensure a smooth check-in process. It's always reassuring to deal with such attentive hosts. The property itself was a true gem. Tucked away in a serene and picturesque corner of the Hamptons, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The interior design was tastefully done, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere throughout. The well-equipped kitchen was a delight for any culinary enthusiast, and we enjoyed preparing our meals using fresh produce from local markets. The property is just a five minute drive to the beach and is a quick 10 min drive to local restaurants, one place our group loved was Cowfish and Rumba. What truly set this property apart was its outdoor space. The spacious patio featured a well-maintained garden with colorful blooms, and we spent many evenings lounging on the comfortable patio furniture, sipping local wine and enjoying the cool breeze. The highlight, however, was the pristine swimming pool, which provided a refreshing oasis under the sun. Would definitely book again!

Summary: Have you ever stayed at a property and wished it had a decent knife? More towels? Extra glassware? Yeah, me too. But Megan's house has it all - and more! Backups for her backups! The house is roomy and comfortable. We had up to 7 people staying and it was plenty big with 4 real bedrooms, and comfortable huge sofa, plenty of seating, and four bathrooms. The backyard was everyone's favorite part - the garden is gorgeous with fat hydrangeas everywhere you looked. And the house is ten mins from the best beaches in the Hamptons (and I've been to them all) and close to a great supermarket and every convenience you could ask for. Unlike many areas in the Hamptons, you'll never sit in traffic once you arrive. Megan was lovely to communicate with. I'd highly recommend her home and can't wait to visit again.

Summary: We chose this rental because of the pool, location and the listing as a house that was “just finished building”. I have never written anything but positive reviews before, so this is difficult to write. Unfortunately, this is clearly a summer rental property, and has not been cared for during the summer. Communication beforehand was fine, but we arrived to find trash in the yard, candy wrappers under beds, broken screens, curtains rods falling off walls and mold on ceiling in bedroom. Maintenance has not been kept up. Owner did respond and offer to let us leave early, which we did not do as could not find another rental at such short notice, or a partial refund. There was no available property manager onsite (to be fair, this was due to an family emergency), and the handyman never showed up. Backyard and pool were nice. The closest beach was beautiful and great for the older kids. We mostly stayed outside. We really wanted to love the house, but would not stay again due to lack of maintenance.

Summary: The location and host could not be better. Just minutes to the beach and the pool is heavenly. House shows wear and tear from it being a rental, and it was not as clean as I would have liked it to be on our arrival. Counters were sticky, windows were dirty and the range hood needs a good scrub. The hosts were super attentive however, and when the toilet sprung a leak they had a plumber out within hours.
