Vacation in this beautifully decorated three bedroom water front home situated on an inviting level lot with gorgeous views of Lake Burton, and the surrounding mountains.
The house is located in a private neighborhood accessed by a flat paved road and driveway with plenty of parking. The house comfortably sleeps eight, and features two flat screened televisions with Direct T.V. Satellite, DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, open dining and living areas, gas fireplace, and washer/dryer. The large screened in porch offers additional eating and relaxing areas, and the adjacent deck has a gas grill with hook up.
A double deck boathouse, with slip available for your boat features areas for sunning and taking in the view, or you can escape the sun and enjoy a cool beverage under the shade of the pergola.
A private swimming dock equipped with stairs leads you gently into the clean, refreshing lake fed by cool mountain streams.
The protected, no-wake zone provides safe and peaceful swimming, floating, canoeing, and fishing. A canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddle board are provided, and if needed, boats and jet skis can be conveniently rented at LaPrades or Anchorage Marina just a few miles down the road.
The large, sod yard is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities such as volleyball, horseshoes, and croquet, or simply take the time to unwind with a good book in the tree shaded hammock. As evening falls, circle the adirondack chairs around the built-in fire pit on the flagstone patio for a night of roasting marshmallows, storytelling, and star gazing.

Summary: Very cozy house with plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Had everything we needed and the communication with the host was amazing. Very quiet neighborhood and we had a nice relaxing stay.

Summary: Lovely house with fire pit and screened porch, spacious living room. Lots of kitchen gear, some family games, private remote area. The only issue was no cleaning supplies available so we had to make a trip for detergent, garbage bags, paper towels.

Summary: Well appointed home with very nice amenities, provides the full lake burton experience at a reasonable cost. The owner is attentive, the home is well kept, beds are comfortable, kayaks and paddle board are available, we made use of the fire pit and enjoyed a family camp fire together in the crisp fall air, we watched football after the kids went to sleep. We will be back.

Summary: We’ve been coming to Lake Burton for the last 7 years and try to find a different house each trip. This house was amazing. First off, it’s the fist property that we have stayed in that offered a nice flat yard with an easy walk from the screened in porch to the boathouse (with a place for our rental boat) and fire pit. Don’t let the size of this house fool you, there was plenty of space for everyone with 3 bedrooms and 4 great sleeping beds. The kitchen had everything you need to make any meal (slow cooker, toaster oven, electric skillet and everything else that you would expect). We spent everyday on the water and this small cove is a perfect spot to get on/off the larger part of the lake. Julie was great and very quick in responding to any questions. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone and would love ti come back someday.

Summary: Perfect little neighborhood, charming decor, perfect layout for families, wonderful boat house and perfect spot on the lake. Our favorites were the screened in porch, fire pit, easy boating, and SUPing in nearby creeks. We had no problems and didn't have much communication with Julie. We would love to come back especially since this property is only 45 minutes from our house. Don't hesitate, this place books fast.

Summary: I loved everything about this rental. It has everything you could want or need. All the outdoor spaces fit any situation, large level lot, screened porch, grilling deck, fire pit, upper and lower docks as well as a shady spot with a hammock. Convenient to LaPrade's and Anchorage. We had no problem renting jet skis and a pontoon on a walk-in basis at both marinas.
