Positive: De place is located in a perfect location, near the beach, the crab market and the Kep NP is around the corner. De hosts are really friendly and you can consume breakfast at their restaurant, it’s great! The rooms are lovely, basic, but with everything you need. The washing machine and free drinking water are a big plus! If you need to cook yourself there is a kitchen. They offer a scooter (best price in Kep) or a TukTuk driver for a day or more.

Negative: We tried to arrange a bus to Battambang, but it wasn’t available and the guy couldn’t tell us why. The last day he gave us less for the breakfast, but he did woke up a bit earlier for the breakfast.

Positive: I thought it was cute. The owners were drunk on new years night and gave me a nice room. I felt loved haha. The place feels homey. Its near to the ocean.

Negative: It was fine for me actually but could be scarry for some. The road getting there is short but in pretty bad shape. I thought it was fun to navigate. I could see others falling over into the mud haha

Positive: Very good family business, accommodation was in authentic Khmer house, very well ventilated, so we didn’t need aircon despite intense heat outside. Wonderful garden. Free coffee! Convenient bike rental. Very pleasant owners. 10/10

Negative: Noisy neighbours in the adjacent property, but it’s not owners’ fault of course.

Summary: We were looking for a chill stay in a traditional Khmer house and Jungle house didn’t disappoint!

Positive: The staff were very attentive and helpful. We stayed in an air-conditioned room, which was essential for the February heat in Kep city. The location is good, just 10 minutes walk from the beach and from the crab market and 5 minutes from the Kep National Park. The house lives up to its name and we were able to see and/or hear many geckos, frogs and birds there. They also have a restaurant where you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate there at least once every day during our four day stay. The guests also can use the kitchen and they provide free coffee and mineral water too.

Negative: The room was a little bit dark and the street that leads to the house could be better preserved or maybe be paved, because it gets really muddy after a rain.

Positive: Guest house located on main road but a bit away in small path. Very near the Kep beach and less than 1km walk from Crab Market. Thank you to Chenda and her team for warm welcome at the Jungle Guest House. Nice chilled place & where we met Gerard and Jean Francois and had a good chat with other travellers. I had a big room and my family shared another 2 rooms. Comfortable rooms and beds. I also really enjoy the use of the kitchen where we could go to the local market early monring and cook our own breakfasts. A welcoming guest house run by friendly people.

Positive: It is a beautiful green property. Quite close to the national park. The proprietor and sister are extremely nice. We had access to the kitchen and free coffee. The open outer space for sitting was quite nice.

Negative: The double room that we booked was stuffy with poor ventilation. We had to keep the AC on all the time. If we kept the door open, then there was no privacy. The only window that opened to the front sitting space was too tiny to make any difference. The mattress was too soft without any support.

Summary: Decent place to stay for a night or two.
