Positive: Honestly, it is worth to spend one or two days in here. The waterfall hike is worth it (easy on your own), the rafting is good, but the place... The place is magical! And the cooks are good.

Negative: Honestly, I think the vegan options should be a bit better given that you basically have to eat there. More care in a balanced plate, with protein (TVP, tofu, falafel, more amount of beans)... It's great to have options, and the food is tasty so on a normal restaurant it'd be good, but if you want to spend more than a day as a vegan it becomes slightly inadequate. But the place is still worth it!!

Positive: This is my favourite place I’ve stayed through my whole trip, the location and views of the river and jungle are amazing, it feels like a friendly oasis to relax in away from the hustle and bustle, and nothing beats taking a dip in the natural granite rock pools while looking out at the views. Highly recommend!

Positive: The location is top tier. It sits right against a river and is peaceful. I visited in April and found no bugs or any other issues. I enjoyed laying on the giant river boulders and watching the stars with little light pollution. The food was excellent. I booked the river rafting with the lodge and they were flexible and a deal! Great place to stay for families or solo travelers and everything in between.

Positive: Fantastic location on the gorgeous Rio Congrejal and by the Pico Bonito National Park. Superb whitewater rafting adventure right from the lodge, with very experienced and fun guide. Great hiking (but few options). Spacious and pleasant common areas encouraging relaxing, engaging with others if one likes, having a picnic, and playing games. The logistics worked well for our group of 6 family members staying in 3 rooms. The breakfasts and dinners we ate there were tasty and good for the prices charged.

Negative: Some staff seemed new and others not well motivated. In one case, we were given the key to the wrong room which led to billing complications - however, these were worked out in a friendly manner. One of the double rooms was tiny and had no hot water and no setup for it, which puzzled staff as well as us. There was a notable shortage of blankets. Breakfast meal prep was slow and orders were missed. I'm hoping this was just an off time for the team, because this place could be a *fabulous* option for groups and singles alike.
