Circa 1932, this historic home has been fully renovated and equipped with new appliances and furnishings, yet has plenty of the old world charm. The location is ideal for those who love the beach!
Upon entering this home you will instantly feel the coastal flair. The living area has sunlight peering in to expose the original hardwood floors and the clean, crisp decor throughout. The dining room has seating for 8. The kitchen is nothing more than ideal with plenty of counter top space and all the necessities you will need for your stay. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your use.
The 2nd floor contains all 3 bedrooms and a full bath. The primary bedroom has a king bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom is ideal for the “kid’s room” with 1 twin bunk bed and a twin daybed with a twin trundle.

Summary: This was exactly what we needed! A close walk to the beach and the park and even the shops! It was a great location. We brought an extra cot for the 9 of us to fit and with the outdoor showers we did even have an issue getting us all bathed timely! It was really nice to have kitchen essentials already stocked so we didn’t have to buy EVERYTHING! Definitely will be back!

Summary: The house was a fantastic size for our family! The girls loved the bunk room/day bed and the toys, puzzles, and games available for the brief moments we were indoors. The weather was phenomenal and the short walk to the beach was made even easier with the supplies available in the shed (specifically the beach cart!). We also loved walking to the main street....frankly, it was wonderful not having to drive anywhere for several days in a row. The house was generally clean and in good order upon arrival - check in and check out were super simple. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and would love to visit again sometime soon!

Summary: This was our fourth time visiting Cape Charles but first time at this property. We won the vacation lottery and the family staying in the other half of the duplex had kids the exact same ages as our kids and they all made instant friends. The home was beautiful and functional, and it is an easy walk to the beach. We loved the front porch where we spent many hours, and our kids particularly enjoyed all the beach toys that were available in the shed. We'd definitely love to come back to this property!

Summary: We loved the location of this adorable rental. The fenced in backyard with picnic tables and lighting was also perfect to let our toddlers play soccer after the beach. We really appreciated the kids’ toys, step stool in bathroom, and the kids’ plates and cups. Made the stay so easy for a family.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely decorated, clean and well stocked with kitchen items. We enjoyed walking to the beach (5 minute walk), downtown (15 minute walk) and to the park (less than 10 minutes). The neighborhood has a nice vibe and perfect for strolls in the am or evening. The main street wasn't fully open during our stay, but when Saturday rolled around the place was lively with plentiful shopping and restaurants to enjoy. We will definitely return to this hidden gem.

Summary: We loved this house. It's beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The kids room was awesome! Home is very close to the beach and within easy reach of shops/restaurant. Really nice touches throughout: little library and even kids books in the kids room, plenty of games/puzzles, kids plates/dishes, power extension for plugging in the golf card we rented, Keurig, etc. Having the beach chairs and other equipment in the shed made going down to the beach comfortable and easy. I will 100% recommend this home to families. The two adult rooms and 4 beds in the kids room makes a perfect for two couples with kids to stay together.
