Modern, Stunning and Spacious Cape Cod Style Home on one of the top clearest lakes in Minnesota! The clean turquoise color water, rare sandy beach, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, long dock and great fire pit will keep you outside all day! Amazing views from inside, WIFI & Smart TVs, house is close to the 100’ of lakeshore that has a firm sand bottom and is great for swimming, recreating and fishing.
Trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Crappie, Perch and Lake Trout as well Incredible wildlife viewing!
Up-to-date, clean, fresh-smelling and warm home with amazing views of Kabekona Lake. Tons of room (3,200 square feet) for family events, week getaways, book clubs, scrapbooking, retreats and corporate events. Great fishing lake either by boat or off the dock. Bring your own boat, kayaks, life jackets and other lake toys for maximum recreation time or rent them when you arrive. State ATV trails all over the area that can start from the driveway. Two bedrooms upstairs with a large bonus room that is figured as a bedroom. One bedroom with a queen and two twin beds, the other with a queen, one twin bed and a child’s bed and the bonus room with two queen beds. One master bedroom on the main level with one queen bed and a large closet. Large bedrooms with plenty of space to enjoy down time. WIFI provided with flat screen smart TVs to access Netflix, Hulu, Sling, Amazon and other streaming services as well as Blue-ray/DVD players at each TV. Roomy areas in the house to set up a laptop comfortably. There are adult and kid DVDs, games and books provided for those cold rainy days spent inside. Kitchen is stocked with basics including silverware, plates, bowls, cups, pans, coffee mugs, wine and beer glasses, mixing bowls, toaster, coffee pot, Keurig single cup machine and Nespresso and milk frother. Good drinking water from the kitchen sink. Cook in or order out from the many great nearby restaurants. Full laundry. Fire pit is next to the beach with chairs onsite. Guests will need to get their own firewood.
Additional amenities include 3-stall garage to store your toys, driveway to store trailers, gas grill, patio furniture, fire pit, bath towels, beach towels, dish towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish, dishwasher and hand soap, shampoo/body soap and light bulbs. Extra sheets, bedding and pillows will be provided. There are a lot of couches and comfortable furniture for reading, naps and relaxing.
Location, Views and Access! Quiet spot with easy access to paved county roads, state roads and state trails. Home is located in a quiet residential area and we ask guests to keep noise levels down after 10:00 pm. Property consists of 100 feet of lakeshore with neighbors directly on both sides. Not far from the town of Laporte, Walker or Bemidji. Championship Golf 10 minutes away at Longbow Golf Club and 15 minutes away at Tianna Country Club. A welcome book binder will be included that will bookmark local restaurants, shopping, attractions, entertainment and rental rules.
Bring a boat or rent a boat. We have many options to rent pontoons, boats, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards and other water toys. There is a public access on the lake with a dock and clean boat launch. Bring your sports car or classic car and enjoy the new re-paved county and state roads just off the driveway.
Groceries, gas and restaurants are 5 minutes away in Laporte, 10 minutes away in Walker and 25 minutes away in Bemidji. Close to Leech Lake (5 minutes), Itasca State Park (30 minutes) and the Paul Bunyan State Trail (3 miles). Great hiking, walking, biking and ATV trails that is a great way to explore the area and see wildlife.

Summary: Our last minute trip up north was really great because of this property! Our family had a great time. The only issue that we had was the lake shore looked like it was flat, but it was a little steep to get to the water. With the little kids that made it a little hard to get up and down.

Summary: The check in process went smoothly. The home was extremely clean. Kitchen was large, had double ovens which came in handy, plenty of dishes, glasses, cups and silverware. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. The each was weed free and the lakeside deck with table, umbrella and chairs was the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day. All in all it was a great place to spend a week at the lake.

Summary: The lake was beautiful, very clean with sandy bottom. Just what we love. Some small rocks near the shoreline. Highly recommend water shoes. The house worked great for the 6 adults and 4 small children ages 3-5yrs.

Summary: This was a return visit for our family as we so enjoyed our visit last year. The property is very clean, the house is beautiful and suits the needs of our family perfectly. The lake is absolutely beautiful and amazingly clean. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Nothing to complain about with our group! Everyone left happy again this year.

Summary: Very nice cabin with plenty of space for a family of 7. Beautiful sunset views. We weren’t familiar with the lake but Kabekona is a big lake with sand bottom and very clear water. Overall a great vacation.

Summary: Our family had the best time at this lake house. It had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfy, but the outdoor space was the highlight. We spent hours on the deck, around the firepit and enjoying the beautiful lake. Fishing was a bust, but that is to be expected in July. It is conveniently located to Walker and Park Rapids. The owner was wonderful to work with and gave me great recommendations for boat rental and water toys. Cannot recommend this home enough. We did not want to leave.

Summary: Beautiful family home. Loved the large sofas and large chairs. The lake view is breathtaking; clean lake; kayaking was amazing; the river stream was a favorite. Loved the large light kitchen and large family dining table. The storage is so abundant. Lots of hot water for many showers; the air conditioner worked wonderfully. We ran a few fans upstairs Loved the large garage; the fire pit was super convenient. Thank you for spraying for mosquitoes! The blinds were a bit touchy to adjust. The stove and microwave needed our additional cleaning when we arrived. But all other areas were wonderfully clean. Beds, bedding, extra pillows, lots of towels. The loons called every night!

Summary: We were so comfortable and pleased with the home and the lake. Beautiful clear lake and well cared for property. Everyone left happy and will consider renting again. The house is close to the lake and the view can’t be beat! The access to the lake could be made easier for us older folk!

Summary: The home was extremely clean and worked well for a big group. We had a great time despite a really windy week that limited some of our lake time.
