Positive: Lovely, quiet location. Boutique style room. Nice personeel and good good cleaning.
Negative: Everything was nice except no normal coffee in the room (only with milk and sugar in it). But no problem!

Positive: We had decided on Lapad for our Dubrovnik stay to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main town and were very happy with our choice. The marina is right outside and is great for an evening walk or to watch the boats/ships come in. We also found lots of lovely restaurants and bars, just a few minutes walk from the room. We arrived by hire car and because the room is almost on the waterfront Kala Luxury Rooms was easy to find. We’d organised parking which was next door in the Hotel Lapad’s car park, albeit for a fee, which you pay at the rooms. The parking ticket to exit the car park needs to be validated at the hotel’s reception. It was all very easy. Breakfast, also in Hotel Lapadula, was fresh with a large selection of everything you could wish for. We went into Dubrovnik by bus and although there is a bus stop directly in front of the rooms, I recommend that you don’t use bus- route 2a. They seem to go very irregularly. We decided on a ten- minute walk to a stop for route 6 which goes directly to Pile, the main entrance to the walls, every fifteen minutes. The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable with ample space to put things. Reception was very helpful and friendly. All in all great stay.

Positive: Kala Rooms is a place I will definitely stay at again when I return. For those who don’t like the city crowds, Kala is less than a 10-minute bus or taxi ride from the Old Town. It’s a peaceful and beautiful location, and the rooms were gorgeous and very clean. I would especially like to compliment Vesna and Rina, the two receptionists, who were so friendly, kind, and always ready to help me with anything I needed or wanted to know. I highly recommend Kala to everyone!

Positive: Exactly as per the pictures. Great room that was very comfortable. The location was also great being right by the marina. Also very comfortable bed. Slept like a baby. The team was also accessible as they are not always on site. Breakfast is at the next door hotel which is not a far walk and they were very helpful providing me with a last minute food box as I had an early excursion at 6:30 am.
Negative: As per other reviews the WiFi can drop but it was largely okay during my stay. I came early and dropped off my luggage and when I came back to check in there was no one and they had not given me instructions about how to get my room card. Called them and got it in the drawer but didn’t think that was super safe as the drawer is left open for anyone to access (In South Africa this would not be regarded as safe). We had a power outage which wasn’t the property’s fault but it was a bit inconvenient and I had to wait for the host to drive to the rooms after coming back from dinner as the power was back but kept on tripping at the location so it was pitch black and the aircon not working. It did make me miss a hotel where help is readily available

Positive: Great location, right at the harbor. Bed super comfy. Staff sometime on site, but always available via WhatsApp. no breakfast on site, but gently of breakfast place in short walking distance, 2 min away
Negative: they had some water problem some nights before - so there was some mold on the walls.
