Positive: The location was perfect to get to and from the airport. Very welcoming hosts, the room was spacious, tidy, clean and modern. Well equipped kitchen, even had some food in the fridge. I was leaving very early in the morning but Vincenza brought my breakfast (fresh pastries) just the same and made my tea. I recommend staying here, there is no noise from the very close airport. Positive: Immaculate!!! Well maintained property inside and out. Vincenza thought of every detail and the kitchen!!…fully stocked from coffee yogurt fruit milk just EVERYTHING.. 10 minutes from the airport so you have an early flight it’s perfect. But also, it is a perfect spot to make it your home base and do day trips to Palermo Mondello beach etc etc.

Negative: ZERO ZERO COMPLAINTS

Summary: If I am ever in Sicily again I will definitely come back here….not to mention the most beautiful mountain that sits dire

Positive: Highly recommend this B&B. I was arriving late to Palermo airport and wanted a place to stay nearby. I feel lucky to have found Kalispera. Vincenza personally arranged my airport pickup, which was close to midnight, and made sure I had everything I needed. The B&B is basically brand new and the room was extremely comfortable. The only downside was that I was only spending one night. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to go back - will definitely plan on spending more time!

Positive: We had booked mainly due to convenience to the airport and the availability of transportation, but this stay ended up being so much more. Vincenza was warm and welcoming, and also very efficient and reliable. She not only drove us from/to the airport, but also to town for dinner at their great pizzeria, and provided a great breakfast (including fresh baked pastries, yogurt, fruit, etc.) early in the morning. Cinisi itself is very cute and after dinner it was a reasonable walk back to Kalispera. The room was immaculate and modern. Believe all the great reviews!

Positive: Great location - quiet for sleeping and close to places to eat and town square. The owners are AMAZINGLY kind and welcoming. They made the stay much easier and more fun. Breakfast was outstanding - homemade pastries and jam in addition to cheese/deli meat.

Positive: My stay at Kalispera this month was fantastic in every possible way and I experienced one of the best B&B hosts you could ever find or ask for. Vincenza, the host at Kalispera, is a wonderful person with a full and kind heart. She picked me up from the Palermo airport personally and arranged for a friend who drives a taxi to take me to the airport early the morning of my departure with pleasure. Additionally, Vincenza went above and beyond by having her husband, a pizzaolo at their restaurant called Stuzzucotto in Cinisi make me two croissants, or cornettos as they are called in Italian, for the morning of my departure and they were the best I had eaten during my two week stay in Sicily. Vincenza even purchased a jar of pistachio cream for me to fill the cornetto with just like you’d find in an Italian cafe. Speaking of Stuzzucotto, I decided that I would eat dinner there on recommendation of Vincenza and I’m glad I did and made the short walk each way to Stuzzucotto for dinner. Unbeknownst to me, Vincenza made a reservation for me at Stuzzucotto, so when I sat down on my own the friendly staff put two-and-two together and asked if I was me by name - again I had no idea that I would have a reservation, but it speaks to the lengths Vincenza will go to to ensure her guests are happy. For dinner I decided on a green salad with cherry tomatoes; a parmigiana pizza, an Aperol spritz, a large bottle of water, and was given a nice glass of limoncello as a parting gift/apéritif - the total was 23€ which is hard to beat and entirely filled me up. Back to Kalispera, the rooms are beautiful and spacious with everything a traveler could need or want for their stay. First there are picturesque views of the mountain side from the room. Second the accommodations are lovely, with a firm but not hard bed that’s large and comfortable along with a nice and spacious bathroom for you to feel right at home.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike about Kalispera for me.
