Positive: The location is very quiet and peaceful, only about 15 minutes from Ao Nang by scooter so easy to access. We went to a lovely restaurant for sunset drinks which was also only about 15 minutes away so good location. The pool was lovely and refreshing and clean. Ann is a great host and quick to answer any questions we had about the local area
Negative: The bed was a bit hard but that’s personal preference. There is only aircon in the bedroom so living area is hot although a fan was provided. The shower pressure wasn’t the best.
Summary: Would recommend Kannapat house to fellow travellers looking to get out the hustle of the town

Positive: We arrived around 9 pm and we were met by the owner who was very nice and helpful with our bags. We had a little issue with some small flies in the bathroom,we told Ann the host and the next morning she upgraded us to a bigger villa free of charge, which was brilliant,the villa was beautiful and spotless clean,they came and cleaned and made beds and changed bins every day, which was very good and much appreciated . The pool was was big and very clean and had a shower. The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained and so peaceful. The sound of birds was amazing and monkeys in the distance all added to tranquility. We liked it so much we stayed another 6 nights and they let us stay in the big villa and charged us the same rate as the small villa, very good of them. The location is 10 mins drive on moped which was was very easy if you don't drive a grab costs between 150baht and 200baht depending on how late it was . Overall I would highly rate kannapat house 10/10 ,Ann the host was super nice and very helpful with information on great local restaurants and beaches and attractions to see, thank you very much Ann and owner's we would 100% stay her again if we come back

Positive: The houses are marvelous, the area is really nice and quiet. The swimming pool Is fantastic, best way to finish a long tour! The staff Is really gentle and discreet, they helped us with transfers and suggested us beautiful locations.
Negative: The houses are in countryside, not so far from Ao Nang but we had trouble booking a Grab. Anyway, the hosts helped us with the transfer so everything was good :)

Positive: A small collection of lovely clean and private villas. We stayed 18 nights. Very peaceful. Need to hire a car /moped to take advantage of location. Can’t recommend enough. Didn’t want to leave. Ann and her aunt and uncle are excellent hosts. Helpful, friendly, respectful. Cleaning your room whilst you out (so you’re not inconvenienced). Hope to be back soon
Negative: If I am really picky I would prefer more comfortable outdoor seating by the villa itself and possibly parasols by the pool

Negative: A bit far away from everything. So without any own transport it would be very hard to manage shopping etc Unfortunately our house was very close to the main road, which was quite loud while sleeping.

Positive: Ann was such an amazing host. Meeting us on arrival and ready with great suggestions for points of interest and always ready to help. She's very invested in her property and with good reason. The landscaping is impeccable and clean. It still manages to keep the best of what Krabi has to offer. The interior of the home that we had, #4, the level of detail given to every single part of the interior shows a true love of craft and the vast experience of our host during her travels. There is no skipping on the quality and the feel of the place. Nights were spent sleeping soundly as you hear nothing from the road or people in general. It was centrally located to all of the important places that you want to see during your stay in Krabi. Especially if you are adventurous and enjoy driving or riding. Most things can be done in under 15 minutes. The beach can be reached in about ten minutes with lots of great shops along the way if you care to look. That's how we found the ATV rides plus places to do our laundry, grocery etc. There are incredible restaurants within 15 to 20 minutes by scooter. Just ask Ann for the list. We hit every one of her recommendations and they were all great.

Positive: This was such a nice environment, with sight on a jungle and mountains around the swimming pool. Really quiet and peaceful. No noise from traffic or loud insects in the bushes. Made for relaxing. The couple working here are very polite and helpful. There are though no restaurants or shops nearby, one has to either rent a scooter or a car, or depend on tuktuks or taxis. There is one very tasty street-food stop like 500m down the road to Ao Nang. We had a meal there several times and our son was playing with their sons and nephews. It was really nice socializing with the owners. As if we were with our own family. If we come back to Ao Nang area we will definely stay again at Kannapat House!
