Positive: The staff really makes you feel welcome from the time you drive through the front gate. The warm welcome made the long drive totally worth it. The different menus every night was good. Really enjoyed the boma evening. Overall enjoyed the various meals. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hospitality was excellent. The activities per day as well as downtime in between were well scheduled. The sunrise and sunset stops in the reserve was most enjoyable.
Negative: The coffee in the morning, prior to the game drive, was not very hot. The game drives were a bit dissappointing. We booked at Kapama especially for the sighting of the big 5. The last hour of the night game drive we personally felt was a bit of a waste since you dont see anything unless it is in the middle of the road. You are not allowed to shine the light on the animals, understandable, so you cant observe the animal or even take photos. Our experience sharing a vechile with another international group was that our sighting requests were put on the backburner in favour of their sighting requests. We were expecting a bit more effort from the guide to help us find the big five. We made numeruous stops at the same animal sightings.
Summary: Hospitality cannot have been better and overall we had a good, relaxing and pampered stay.
