Summary: We stayed in July and it was lovely and warm once the logburner fire was going. There were plenty of warm blankets and heaters in the bedrooms too. Only 30 minutes from Dunedin Central, so a great location. Would love to come back in the summer!

Summary: This is a nice simple holiday bach in a great location (opposite the local store). We were down for the weekend and going to the football in Dunedin on Sunday night, and the owner very kindly let us have a very late check out which was very convenient to us. Recommended.

Summary: We stayed for a week in the middle of winter and made full use of the logburner, it was very cosy and had everything we needed including a couple of kayaks to take out on the estuary on a beautiful calm morning. Would recommend!

Summary: The house is located close to a view over the estuary and sea, and across from an excellent general store. The house has a log-fire (it rained a lot and was cold when we were there.) Karitane is a lovely place to walk and to enjoy the coast and laid-back feel.

Summary: We really enjoyed this house in Karitane. The house was warm and clean. There was plenty of room for our family, and the location was ideal - so close to the beach. There was everything we needed, and the kayaks was an extra bonus which the kids loved. There is lots to do in Karitane and surrounding areas, yet not far from Dunedin. An extra for us was the wonderful communication with the owner, and her understanding when our plans changed. We really appreciated that! We would recommend this house to others, and encourage them to visit a beautiful part of the country.
