Positive: This is the best place to be, if you want to be around the north point in southern island. The only consideration is the weather, when windy and rainy you can’t do much outdoors and the view is discounted, but hand out in the house itself is an experience. The beds are very comfortable and the beddings used are professional ones.

Positive: The secluded location of this accommodation was amazing. You have total privacy and no noise pollution. During the day we went for walks and hikes, in the afternoons we enjoyed the house (especially the sunny terrace) and at night we could see the brightest night sky (so many stars). The accommodation has everything you need, is modern and very clean. Very friendly and flexible host. Easy communication and check-in/out procedure. We loved it so much!
Negative: Maybe a lounge set on the terrace to enjoy the sunny afternoons. A picnic table/bench is not so comfortable. But that is just a small detail :)

Positive: During the past years, I rated very few houses with "magna cum laude". Karu ō te Kiwi fully deserves this rating. Beautiful and peaceful location, privacy, unobstructed views, birds singing everywere... The house... simply charming. Rented houses, although beautiful decorated, seems to look, usually, like empty shells. But not Karu ō te Kiwi! It looks like a very loved house, bursting of character. We are very grateful because we felt like the owners shared with us not only a house, they shared with us a small piece of their life. Karu ō te Kiwi was the trigger for our trip to New Zealand: it was love at first sight. I found it on internet and I started to build our vacation, piece by piece, around this property. Karu ō te Kiwi inspired also Santa: he brought us a new coffee machine ;).
