Positive: Honestly one of the nicest places I have stayed. The villa was sublime and felt like a paradise! The beds were comfy, the pool was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the views were amazing. The staff were so so kind and helpful with whatever we needed. Such good value for money, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
Negative: Nothing. Just note the restaurant is closed for dinner, so worth buying some groceries

Positive: Beautiful setting and views. Very quiet and private Loved the mezze style breakfast. Delicious plentiful and exquisitely presented. Particularly like the fresh walnuts and cracker on the table. It’s more like a self catering villa with breakfast.
Negative: Disappointed that the bar and restaurant both closed at 5pm daily during our stay in September. We had hoped to eat in hotel some evenings. There are other options in the village to eat but you have to drive. This was the only let down and should’ve been highlighted at point of booking. Otherwise a great stay.

Positive: Wow wow, where do I start. This hidden gem is one of the most magnificent places I’ve ever stayed at. Everything from the service, aesthetics, down to the linen and toiletries. It’s world class in every way. The bed and sheets were heavenly, the cottages felt like 5 star heritage builds, the decor, the finishes, I can go on and on. The outdoor area was just as amazing as the inside. Private villa pool surrounded by a topical and Mediterranean garden, with all the finishes you could only dream of. The outdoor restaurant was mind blowing, everything that lands on your table is grown from the land. From the olives to the home made yogurt. I almost want to be selfish and keep this place to myself and not write a review 😂😂😂 I only write this review in love and respect to the property managers and staff, you are amazing and I can’t wait to be hosted by you again. Ps if your a twilight saga fan, our villa reminded me of Edward and Bella’s honeymoon villa 😍

Positive: We’ve stayed at this hotel four times now, and up until this trip we would have rated it 10++ without hesitation. The location is still fantastic, the room was beautiful, all the facilities were there, and breakfasts were delicious. These are the reasons we’ve kept coming back.
Negative: There were a few noticeable changes — perhaps due to a change in ownership — that left us feeling a little differently. The welcome from reception was less warm; the administrator spoke very limited English, which made communication harder. One night, we couldn’t sleep because the pool’s system was running loudly. Our air conditioner didn’t quite manage to cool the room enough for the August heat. The hotel restaurant no longer offered dinners, which used to be a big plus for us, as we enjoyed having meals on site. And the musical evenings — once such a highlight — are gone. Small touches have also disappeared: on arrival, no disposable slippers as before, cappuccino at breakfast is now charged extra, and when we checked out, we were given a bar bill we didn’t quite understand. It also felt less accommodating with late checkout — previously, they’d always allowed us an extra hour because of our flight schedule, but this time it was a strict departure without discussion. None of these changes are huge on their own, but together they gave a different impression — as if the soul of the place wasn’t quite there this time. Still, much remains the same and we did enjoy our stay.
Summary: We’d now give it an 8 instead of our usual 10++, and we hope some of the old charm will return.
