Positive: If you're looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet — where you can hear birds tweeting and the sounds of animals from the valley below — this is the place. If your life is busy and hectic and you truly need to switch off, Kassandra Heritage is perfect for that. We stayed in Villa Calla for a week in mid-May for our honeymoon and overall had a really lovely, romantic stay. Villa & Amenities Villa Calla was cosy, peaceful and very romantic. The heated pool directly outside the bedroom was definitely one of the highlights. As a hijabi Muslim woman, I also appreciated how private the pool area felt and was able to swim comfortably. One of my favourite details was hearing the adhan softly echoing from the valley below — not too loud, just calming and beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were soft, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxing and intimate. The TV included Netflix, although the WiFi can occasionally drop, meaning you sometimes have to reconnect before watching. The kitchen has enough utensils for basic cooking, though a few additions like an oven glove and sieve/strainer would make it more practical. A few small points worth noting: - Housekeeping, towel changes and toilet roll top-ups need to be requested rather than automatically done. - One of our towels had stains on arrival, although staff replaced it quickly once we asked. - The hot tub could have done with a clean before use and unfortunately didn’t stay heated for very long. - Villa Calla sits next to the restaurant, so depending on where you place the sunbeds, there is slight visibility into the garden area. Food & Breakfast Breakfast is organised through WhatsApp each morning, where staff ask what time you'd like it and whether you'd prefer to eat at the restaurant or outside your villa. We appreciated the flexibility and service. If you choose to eat outside your villa, be aware that cats do roam around and may try to grab food.

Positive: The breakfast was incredible and some of the freshest food. We are so thankful for the care they gave us and all the ways they helped us to feel comfortable.

Negative: The only downside was that since it was the off season the restaurant wasn't open for dinner. But they gave us suggestions for where we could go for dinner.

Positive: Honestly one of the nicest places I have stayed. The villa was sublime and felt like a paradise! The beds were comfy, the pool was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the views were amazing. The staff were so so kind and helpful with whatever we needed. Such good value for money, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Negative: Nothing. Just note the restaurant is closed for dinner, so worth buying some groceries

Positive: Beautiful setting and views. Very quiet and private Loved the mezze style breakfast. Delicious plentiful and exquisitely presented. Particularly like the fresh walnuts and cracker on the table. It’s more like a self catering villa with breakfast.

Negative: Disappointed that the bar and restaurant both closed at 5pm daily during our stay in September. We had hoped to eat in hotel some evenings. There are other options in the village to eat but you have to drive. This was the only let down and should’ve been highlighted at point of booking. Otherwise a great stay.

Positive: Wow wow, where do I start. This hidden gem is one of the most magnificent places I’ve ever stayed at. Everything from the service, aesthetics, down to the linen and toiletries. It’s world class in every way. The bed and sheets were heavenly, the cottages felt like 5 star heritage builds, the decor, the finishes, I can go on and on. The outdoor area was just as amazing as the inside. Private villa pool surrounded by a topical and Mediterranean garden, with all the finishes you could only dream of. The outdoor restaurant was mind blowing, everything that lands on your table is grown from the land. From the olives to the home made yogurt. I almost want to be selfish and keep this place to myself and not write a review 😂😂😂 I only write this review in love and respect to the property managers and staff, you are amazing and I can’t wait to be hosted by you again. Ps if your a twilight saga fan, our villa reminded me of Edward and Bella’s honeymoon villa 😍
