Katie's kountry kottage has a great central lancaster county location . Leave your car at the cottage and walk to kitchen kettle village and all the other shop of intercourse . You will also be near popular attractions such as sight &sound theater , strasburg rail road dutch wonderland and much more .this simple accommodation has 1 bedroom (sleeps 5-6 in queen bed &2 sofa beds ) a full kitchen , sitting room &bathroom w/ shower free wifi
As you can see in the photos , the cottage is set back from the busy main street of intercourse and there is a farm machinery sale lot on one side of the cottage .out back however is a great view of amish farmland
Host family lives next door and will be happy to greet guests at their cottage

Summary: We absolutely loved this place! It is perfectly located with only a short walk to the shops in Intercourse, and a short drive to the rest of the Amish country! John is a great host, and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and that we had everything we needed! we absolutely recommend Katie's kountry cottage!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Katie's cottage. The gas powered woodstove made it even cozier. Loved the room in the living area & kitchen. It was our home away from home. It is a lovely cottage with plenty of places to visit right there. John and Katie were wonderful & their children are just adorable. We would definitely rent this cottage again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this quaint retreat celebrating my mom’s birthday… quiet, with just the best sounds of laughing children and the sounds of the buggy’s and horses traveling up the street. If you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life as we know it, this is the best! Katie and John are wonderful hosts.

Summary: The stay was so great we didnt want to leave. Our children played with host children every day and it was a joy and blessing to just slow down. I feel we will be back, and will keep in touch! Close enough to walk if you are looking for shopping and dining. We cooked in the house, though we brought items to do so. Great experience!
