Positive: The property had the 2 separate bedrooms and space we required. Dining table area was nice once we found lights and popped on heaters to warn up the space. The garden looked ideal space if visiting in warmer weather. We were able to park directly outside. The hosts did get back to me via a call when we raised the issue of cupboard jammed and missing hairdryer. Their maintenance person arrived in time to resolve issues for us. The bedding towels were all clean and property tidy on arrival.
Negative: The information book had lots of information about restaurants in local area. We felt we needed a few more practical bits on adjusting heating and instructions for TV and electric oven to heat up food. We weren't able to access under stairs cupboard to access iron ironing board and visit was for family funeral so 1 guest it was an issue. Plus no hairdryer so perhaps someone needs to do a more regular inventory check. Another chair in lounge area might be useful so guests not all sat in a line. I did use chair from dining area.

Positive: Garden was secure for our dogs, parking was ideal for getting dogs into rear of property, via the short path to garden gate.
Negative: Property had not been prepared, washing up not done, iron and board in conservatory and bedding not changed. Contacted host who apololgised for oversight and arranged for clean bedding to be delivered for our second night. We used our own duvet cover and pillow cases to sleep on sofa bed on the first night. We usually bring our own towels too, so not having these changed did not impact too much on our stay. We were down for a family bereavement, so did not stay in the property during the day as we had previously, therefore not having the property prepared on arrival was inconvenient but not a disaster. I would not expected the previous guests to just leave dirty cups etc in the sink and draining board, this is not a hotel room, so if they just run out of time the least would be washed items sitting on draining board, cleaners would need more time to prepare house if everyone did this.
Summary: Property was sufficient for our stay.

Positive: We loved our happy stay at this lovely property. We had a relaxing, comfortable very happy time here. The house has a well equipped kitchen where I enjoyed cooking our meals and had these at the table in the conservatory. The dogs had also a great stay and were very welcomed at the property ( this made us feel also happy and relax) There are plenty of parking spaces at anytime, also the property has an allocated parking space at the side. We went there with 3 cars and always find space available at the front of the house (lay-by). The area where the property is was very peaceful and we had lovely river side walks ( starting just at the end of the road ) and admire the lovely green scenery and flowers. The area felt very safe and the property had a happy feeling all around. Horsham Town is just 5 min drive and it’s a fabulous town with a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Horsham. We would like to thank the owners and housekeeper for our wonderful stay at your property.
Negative: Some squeaky floorboards upstairs and in my opinion some more clothes hanging ( a wardrobe ) and adding a couple of bedside tables would be just perfect.

Positive: Breakfast was not part of the deal. Having stayed before we knew what to expect and location is excellent for visiting family. Accommodation was warm and cosy. Location nice and quiet.
Negative: Having stayed before we were disappointed that small maintenance things mentioned a year ago had not been attended to and there were some other things that could do with improvement. The bathroom ceiling could do with being repainted where damp has been and still may be maybe due to roof leakage. Carpets need to be properly fixed down at doorways with appropriate sized naplocks. Door lock to conservatory needs to be repaired or replaced as mechanisms are breaking down. Light rose in bedroom needs to be refitted along with curtain rail on front window in bedroom. A lick of paint could brighten skirting boards and shower holder is cracked and not holding shower head properl.
