Positive: A delightfully cosy cottage which was an ideal base for 3 adults and a dog for the week. I met the owner on arrival as he was finishing off making the place spotlessly clean (and also made me a cup of tea while I waited!). The kitchen was very well equiped and our welcome included tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, crumpets and jam. The downstairs storage heaters provided ample heat, so we didn't make use of the open fire. There was plenty of hot water for showers, with a booster facility available if required. The cottage has carpets in the lounge which was great as the dog is getting old and tends to slip on laminate. We never struggled finding a space to park the cars. The local area was very peaceful during the day with just a few cars and tractors passing by. We did pleasant walks either from the cottage or by driving further afield (eg Spurn). We used the train to Beverley, the bus to Driffield and drove to Malton and Pickering.

Positive: Excellent location. We were attending a family event in a nearby village on the first night, went walking on the second day and visited attractions in the area on the third. The host had left us tea, coffee, milk, butter etc and an excellent info pack. We used it to order takeaways from Driffield. We could always park right outside the door. There was a spacious rear garden.
Negative: It was a small, terraced cottage and you could hear neighbours on one side but that was no real issue.
Summary: Can't seriously fault it.

Positive: Cute property with everything thought of. Coffee machine, milk, tea, coffee (and coffee pods), bread, jam, butter, cookies, and random booze on top of the fridge! 😂
Negative: Only very very minor gripes. No pizza wheel (#firstworldproblems) and the toilet flush was a bit weak. Otherwise absolutely brilliant.
