Positive: The place is located view a beautiful view and is quiet and feels very nice. We felt so welcomed by the all the staff and the breakfast was a fantastic and local experience with it’s Sicilian ingredients, presented with proud enthusiasm by Daniela (hope spelling is correct😊). Thanks all for making our 6 days near etna and wonderful experience. We recommend to have car when visiting. Br family Bertelsen from Denmark.

Positive: There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. The staff are super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Daniella and Ketty in the restaurant always went above and beyond to provide food and drinks…whatever you would like within reason and such lovely people. The breakfast choices were excellent with the best cappuccino😀 our room was large with a view down to the coast, the gardens are beautiful and the hotel use their own grown produce. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and dinner on a few occasions. The cost is higher than the local restaurants in the village but it was very good. We hired a car and so we ate in various locations other than the hotel and it was less expensive. They organised trips for us, the best being the helicopter ride over Etna. We visited Syarcuse and Ortigia 1.5 hours away) Taormina (35 mins away) Zafferina (10 mins). There are local beaches around 15 mins away which are pebbly but nice. Beach clubs cost around 18 euro for 2 sunbeds and umbrella for the day and the drinks and food were very reasonable. The parking on the road was also free. The hotel is located on the edge of a quiet village giving peace and quiet away from normal life. All in all a great holiday in a lovely relaxing environment. The view from the pool is amazing!
Negative: There isn’t anything to really not like but if I had anything to say it would be the beds were very hard and uncomfortable for me as I sleep on my side. The bedlinen was crisp and white and changed 3 times during our 9 day stay which was fab. Also something to be aware of, there is a service charge added for every drink you order by the pool or sitting on the terrace of the dining area of 2 euros and 10 euros for lunch/dinner therefore you don’t need to give a tip. We weren’t told this and found out after having tipped the staff on our first evening. Drinks by the pool do include 2 bowls of nibbles at around 4pm. My husband wanted to pay our bill daily so we found out early on as we were staying for 9 nights.

Positive: Hotel set up was great, very calm and relaxing, good swimming pool and spacious rooms, with excellent views, very good food and excellent staff. We felt very welcomed and that everyone was taking good care of us from the moment we arrive till last minute of our stay. A special note for a member of the restaurant staff - Daniela. She was amazing in how she really made an effort in trying to make our son's birthday special.
Negative: Nothing. It was a truly great experience.
Summary: Great experience. I would definitely recommend and hope to return one day!

Positive: - very kind, helpful staff (especially Daniella!). They do everything they can to satisfy your stay! - breakfast with different local specialities -> excellent!! - very good location and perfect base to visit different towns at the east side of sicily. It's a peaceful, calm resort where you can escape the rush of the nearby towns. - beautiful pool area with different relaxing beds. - beautiful garden well maintained. - easy parking area - spacious rooms
