Summary: I had high hopes when I arrived at the hotel. The front desk employee was great. Really nice gentleman and offered a lot of information. But then we got into the room. We had checked in late in the evening and when we walked into the room it felt like a sauna. Incredibly hot and the A/C did not work very good at all. Also the bathroom had lots of black stains high up on the walls and also in the main part of the room which was showing through the wall paper. I am surprised over the winter that they did not try to treat the black spots (which I assume was black mold) over the winter. I think it could be a nice place with some work but honestly I wouldn’t go back.

Summary: The staff was very friendly. The room was so spacious with cute log furnishings from the bed to the rocker and table and chairs. It was quiet even though it is located on the end of the main hub of tourist shops. I’d give it a 5 star rating if it had an elevator. We carried luggage up to the 3rd floor.

Summary: A nice place, very close to many places to eat and buy souvenirs and only a couple of miles from Mount Rushmore. I would stay with them again, I recommend

Summary: They were very kind and polite. The only problem was no elevator. They couldn't put me on a ground floor, but they tried several times. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The hotel was clean, quiet, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The mattresses are in need of being replaced, which I mentioned to the desk person. Hopefully, they will replace them. The price was fair. If mattresses are actually updated, I would stay again. It's not fancy, no breakfast, no restaurant on the property, but good location.

Summary: This place was great! Hotels.com messed up and never booked our stay (even though they sent reminder emails of our stay). Keystone Boardwalk took care of us so we could still be enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend Keystone Boardwalk. I would not recommend Hotels.com since messed up and tried blaming everyone else and had minimal effort in trying to resolve the problem they made.

Summary: Wonderful place, clean and comfortable EXCEPT the backup alarms at very early in the morning from next door. Located right in the middle of town and very close to Mt Rushmore. Helpful staff, lovely lobby, nice stay.

Summary: Just a quick stop but the hotel staff was friendly and room was very comfortable & clean. Be advised there is a Trump merchandise tent in the parking lot. I wasn’t comfortable enough to ask if it was sponsored by the hotel. If so, I may have chosen a different hotel.
