There is no better place to enjoy your summer days than at this spacious, private, rustic remake of the Historical 1910 Grand View Lodge located on the spectacular Lake Vermilion, MN. (Lake access only). This fabulous place is on 20 plus acres, with over 600' of private lakeshore, and is accessed by boat only which creates a unique remote haven. Park your car at Timbuktu Marina where you'll have access to a public boat launch. Load up your boat, and take a ten minute ride through a calm lake channel to the pristine shores of Grand View Lodge, where you will start your vacation and let the fun & relaxation begin! Main lodge has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, large living areas, game area, conversation area, fully stocked Chef's kitchen and dining room (Table seats 14.) The original 1910 Hotel building right next door has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, lakeside indoor sitting area, and large deck overlooking the lake. (One bedroom with King bed and three bedrooms each with three double XL beds.) Head down to the water and you'll find a rare private beach area, fish cleaning building with running water, lake shore fire pit, grill, screened pavilion, and huge grassy area for tons of fun! Fish from your boat or fish right off the dock! There are two docks for parking your water equipment and a third for the swimming area. This is the perfect place for small or large groups to enjoy some priceless time together! Consider these events at this amazing location... weddings, reunions, anniversaries, or business groups. Summary: this was our second year staying here, the upgrades made since last year were fantastic, everything was in good working order. host are nice. The walleyes were biting well and we also caught a 48 inch muskie. we had 12 adults and 5 kids and it never feels crowded. overall fantastic stay!!

Summary: I can't even begin to do this place justice with a written review, you just have to go. This is my 3rd time at Grandview and my second time hosting a group of 15+ people for a corporate photoshoot. The owners are continually improving and investing in the property and somehow a perfect place keeps getting better. Stunning views, perfect location mid-lake, running back into town for supplies is a breeze, 10mins from Vermilion Dam Lodge, Wolf Bay via water. The main lodge, kitchen and entertaining spaces are killer, main lodge rooms and bathrooms are great for multiple couples (8 people) with plenty of pullout beds for additional guests. The hotel accommodates 11 people with no problem. Internet and cell service is just good enough to handle the amount of contact you need but that's not why you are there! If I could stay there forever I would.

Summary: With Canada not an option for the past two years we stayed south of the border for our annual fishing trip for ten men. While the fishing was very slow in August the Grand View on Lake Vermillion was amazing! We absolutely loved the accommodations and amenities!!

Summary: Property was very clean, and as advertised. lot of room for the kids and adults, great setup for fishing. The kitchen setup worked well to cook for the bunch of kids and adults. Swimming beach was a hit with the kids, they spent a lot of time there. All in all a great experience

Summary: Our recently graduated granddaughter wanted an outdoor adventure with some of her friends - she picked GrandView Lodge on Vermilion and no one went home disappointed ! Some comments: “This place is amazing! I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. It truly is a place to make amazing memories”. “Couldn’t have picked a better place. The interior was just as gorgeous as the Lake itself! My only complaint is - we left to soon.” ‘GrandView Lodge is a great place to vacation. The land and shoreline are very scenic and provides great spots to hang out, have fires,fish,swim and more. I enjoyed every second of my stay here and I highly recommend to anyone looking to rent on Lake Vermilion”. “Staying at GrandView Lodge on Vermilion was an amazing experience. With the breathtaking views and countless things to do,I would recommend staying here to anyone. Summary: Wow! This place is incredible. If you are looking for a place to have a family gathering, this is it. Loved the privacy and the views from all the decks. I will miss watching the deer from the back porch. Beautiful sand beach. So much room and everything was so clean. Has a full commercial kitchen with everything you need and more. The communication with the property manager was excellent. Had fresh caught walleye for dinner. Thank you so much for a grand experience! Will not hesitate to return.
