Positive: We liked the location, close to Campbeltown but still between the fields, very quiet ( except for some beeeh from the sheep) Nice comfy sofa’s and beautiful view from the downstairs window. Did feel a bit tired an cramped. The sheep added to the country vibe as did the sign “bull in field”. Would have like to be able to look more closely to the castle nearby. It was good value for money compared to other self catering homes in the neighbourhood, good for sightseeing Kintyre area. Loved the haggis nachos at the black sheep inn .
Negative: The stairs are a bit more awkward and steeper than expected, although the lighting helped, would have like a bit more railing. Tiny windows in the bedrooms made me wonder how on earth we’d escape in case of a fire downstairs!
