It is located on the end of a private drive, surrounded by a mature birchwood forest; so you feel like you're away from it all, but actually, you’re only minutes from all of Door County's best villages and sites.

Summary: Great stay for a long weekend. Loved the location- easy access to Peninsula State Park as well as downtown Sister Bay. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the screen porch!

Summary: We stayed at the Hinter Haven with our two young children, brother and sister in law and nephew. The property was set back in a quiet area, with lots of room to play in the yard with games from their well supplied shed. We so appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the books and toys in the family room (if we go back, I will save the space and not pack our own 😊). My grandfather was Norwegian so the Ole and Lena joke books ans Lefse tools brought a big smile!

Summary: The house exceeded our expectations. Plenty of glasses and dishes for the 6 of us. Lots of room for us to spread out. It would be nice to have 6 chairs at the upstairs table. That is where we played games because it was the only table with a light over. The beds were upgraded to a king in the 1st floor bedroom and a queen and single in the 3rd bedroom, which was nice. A negative was the road to get to the house - it is gravel with potholes.

Summary: We were 6 adults and a toddler. This was a perfect location in a quiet beautiful wooded area just minutes from the beach and shops and restaurants. The house is clean and well stocked with comfy beds , games for indoors and out and plenty of space to hang out together. We had a great time reconnecting.
