Villa Kingfisher is a unique property, and excellent choice for couples/friends wanting a romantic and rustic away from it all break but only a pleasant 20 minute walk into town.
Secluded and located on the rivers edge with a small row boat to explore and visit the Crab restaurant about 500m away.
A back to nature location but with all the finest fittings and fixtures to make your stay comfortable. 3 bicycles are also provided for you to use.

Summary: This little cottage was everything we wanted. Ozgur was fantastic and organised everything for us, from trips to the car rental and transfer. There was no pressure but he made things so simple that it made sense to do everything through him. The place was in the most beautiful setting, surrounded by birds and wildlife. We would not change a thing. It was so quiet and private but only a quick drive from the centre of Dalyan for when we needed anything. The local restaurant owned by the same family was also fantastic and only a short walk away. The staff were so friendly and treated us like family, letting us use their whole garden and happily let us use the canoes to go up and down the quiet part of the river right outside. It was just perfect and we wouldnt change a thing. Thank you so much.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at Kingfisher cottage - the turtles, the baby birds just coming out of their nests and the peace and quiet of the river all contributed the wonderful ambience of the place.

Summary: Having stayed in Dalyan 10yrs ago l have always wanted to return. When we return again Kingfisher cottage would be the only place that we would want to stay. It is literally like the garden of Eden, to wake up in the morning with views of the mountains ,pomegranate fields and Turtles waiting for breakfast was a pure joy. The hosts were truly lovely people and went out of their way to help in anyway possible. Gizem and her family also run the beautiful restaurant 50 metres from the cottage which we would highly recommend. If you want a five star hotel this is not for you , but if you love nature and beautiful surroundings then this is truly 5 stars. Would also like to thank Ozgur for his help, he even drove to fetiye to pick up our misdirected suit case. To sum up this holiday for us was the very best of Turkey 🇹🇷.

Summary: Tranquil rural location. Helpful charming 'Noor' at restaurant, but oh what a sad attempt at hospitality. Dark, dank lounge with old worn stained settee pads, paint crumbling off walls and walls crumbling in places. 2 broken lamp shades, stained and torn sheets, 4 broken sun loungers with ripped and torn pads. Doors needing lifted to shut. Lower deck unable to sit out on due to overgrown foliage, ingrained unhygienic pool, broken and dodgy electricity box. Problems with dog noise and getting into garden, destroying sunpads. Owner laughed at suggestion of compensation. Such a shame as given proper investment, care and attention, this place good be magical

Summary: What a beautiful location: turtles, cormorants and, of course, kingfishers can be seen from the decking most of the time. The accommodation, though basic, has everything you could want for your stay ( including very comfortable beds!!) Dalyan itself is a lovely town with many bars and restaurants to choose from. The people have to be the most friendly and helpful we have ever come across in our travels. Perfect!! Many thanks to everyone - definitely will be back!

Summary: This is a fantastic getaway from it all property. It's right on the river with mountain views. We had use of a canoe and a small motor boat which we pottered about in. We saw lots of kingfishers and turtles every day. wew also saw a couple of harmless snakes swimming across trhe river and some fantastic types of heron and bittern. The small jacuzzi was very cold - instant relief from the heat. Some of us swam the length of the river daily. There's no air con but there are fans on the balcony and fans in the rooms which made nights comfortable. We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Kingfisher restaurant which is just up the track- all were delicious. The owner (who runs the restaurant and farms the pomegranate orchards) was around to sort any problems and kindly gave me a boat lesson. Bev, who manages the property, was great too. My only suggestion would be a folder with a map of how to get to town/ nearest shop andwith some general information on how things in property work. We arrived late at night and had no idea how to get to town. I used bike daily to get groceries - about 10 min ride and we walked in once - about 30 mins.

Summary: We have had the most fantastic time. The cottage is simple, comfortable and in a stunning position on the river-it is exactly like the photos. It is secluded and about 15 minutes from Dalyan centre. We used the old, but functional bikes to get around and there is an old kayak to explore the river. There is a fish rest aurant close by with a limited menu but very helpful and warm staff. The locals have been fantastic and we have felt so welcome. The owner could not have been more helpful and we were invited to pick and eat the fresh vegetables from the garden. We did several activities including the 12 Island boat trip. It is worth paying the extra for a trip with a maximum of 12 passengers. We visited saklikant gorge and Tlos, went on a jeep safari, did the moonlight tour and visited the very smelly mud baths. All worth doing. The company we used was Styx and we were picked up and brought back to the cottage. The service was superb. We enjoyed eating at the Caretta Restaurant which has a riverside position opposite the Lyceum tombs. We met lots of lovely people and can't wait to return. It's been a perfect holiday for us.
