Positive: A very different experience to stay in a town hall. The kids felt like they were in a castle. Was easy to get trains to edinburgh once we knew how to get tickets through trainpal (Google maps was directing us to other apps tgat cost a lot more).

Negative: Unfortunately the local chippie and restaurant across the road were both closed so we had to travel a little further for dinner. It would have been nice to eat local.

Positive: Unique Building. Large Rooms Comfortable furniture. Grandkids felt like they were staying in their very own castle.. close to all facilities.

Negative: Got draughty at night. Anyone with any infirmity at all will struggle with the space and stairs.
