Positive: Nice, warm, modern, cozy apartment with a functional kitchen. The whole apartment was really very clean - even the oven. It was nicely (understatedly) decorated. The apartment was spacious enough for 3 people.

Negative: The private parking place advertised on "booking.com" did not exist. We had to park 150m away on a public lot 4 hours max. So we needed to drive the car a bit further or adjust the clock several times per day. The couch in the living room, was OK too sleep, but other than the bed-room there were no good blinds ... in march it was somehow OK, in summer this can be far too bright.

Summary: Nice, cosy, really clean appartement - but no parking.

Positive: The apartment is lovely and situated in a quaint and beautiful part of the city. It's a bit far from the city center if you're planning to walk in the cold but otherwise it's a good distance, perfect for a quiet getaway. The sauna was a plus and amenities are decent.

Negative: Wifi was not working throughout our stay as they had not paid the bill, it blocked us with a paywall. We tried to get in touch with the email and phone numbers provided and couldn't get any response. When the phone number finally got through on the second evening the person said he was aware of the problem but couldn't do anything about it till the next day as he was not in Rovaniemi. Which didn't make sense because the bill could be paid online as per the paywall. We waited until the next day and it still wasn't working till the very end of our trip so we gave up. As tourists, we all know the importance of having wifi in a foreign country so it was very disappointing! The key pickup/drop is far from the location and not mentioned till the day before your trip. We had to call the booked cab services that were picking us at the beginning to make changes to the journey which cost us increased rates.

Positive: The instructions to find the apartment were very clear. It is a little out of town in a very pleasant location. Keys need to be picked up from a tourist office in the town centre. The apartment is very well-equipped (including a sauna!) and spotlessly clean. The owners were very friendly and responsive and it is good value. The location is very pleasant - near a lake and a 20 minute walk from the city centre.

Negative: The description of the sleeping arrangements is a little misleading. There is one bedroom with 2 (very comfortable) single beds pushed together to make a double. There is also a sofa bed in the living room - this is described as a large double but is actually quite small - only really suitable for one adult or two children.

Positive: Comfortable and cozy, well-equipped* apartment located in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood. Everything is in walking distance (nearest K-Market ~8min, centre ~15min, Arktikum ~25min). Key collection was easy (at a nearby 0-24 gas station) despite the late arrival. The host is super kind and helpful. *It can't be seen on the pictures, but there IS a washing machine, if anybody would be in doubt.

Negative: We liked everything. :)

Negative: The apartment key is to be picked up from a gas station which is very uncomfortable plus check in time is 4 pm which is very difficult during harsh winter and there is no luggage drop off facilities which is not pleasant if there is 5-6 hour gap between flight time and check in/out time.

Summary: Nice property but Check in/out or Luggae drop off is problematic
