Positive: The vieeeeeewwww, The funky traditional accommodation, the kindness of staff, the fire pit and charcoal inside the hut/house, the traditional Pottery and equipment from kings' times, the tea plantation just under the restaurant... the overall experience is just unique.
Negative: Honestly nothing! But I would say that if you are picky about luxury bathroom and comfort bedding, this is not the place for you.
Summary: Nice place to travel back in Time !

Positive: - Very nice views over Nyungwe Forest - Mountain cottages had nice terraces and views - Good breakfast
Negative: - accommodation was double booked and our friends then needed to stay in a traditional hut while nobody apologized - not many drinks available although we were a group of 12 and had booked way in advance - dinner was not the best - whole grounds need more maintenance, defibitely have potential

Positive: Small authentic hotel with a beautiful view of the tea plantations. We booked a bungalow with a balcony, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was good, but we waited for dinner for more than 1.5 hours.
Negative: It was cold in the room, shower doesn't work

Positive: The most beautiful view I’ve ever seen. Right in Nyungwe. About 45 mins from Uwinka gate. Great breakfast. Mix of cabins and camping ground.
Negative: Food for dinner was so so. No Wi-Fi (but I liked this as it helped you disconnect more and enjoy the forest) but some may need it. It’s a tough drive up the last little hill from the road to the lodge so you’ll need a 4x4 for this.
