With the close proximity to Gooseberry Falls and Splitrock Lighthouse, as well as Two Harbors, Duluth, and Lutsen, there are year-round opportunities to venture out to go hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sightseeing, swimming, and much more!
Great for groups both large and small, there are 4 - two-bedroom, one bath apartment style suites on the property that can be reserved individually or together. Summary: We had to stay here because they allow dogs. The sauna was nice and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace. The beds were very squishy and not good for bad backs, the shower was very small, the sink had no place to put your toiletries (why they put everything on the bed), and they are very strict on dog noise.

Summary: Pros: - great location - nice layout - sauna - right on hiking trail! Cons: - super thin walls/floor…you hear everything from the 3 neighbors in this building. Made sleeping tough at times! - cobwebs all over, made us question level of cleaning

Summary: Absolutely beautiful property with incredible views and an awesome layout. We rented all 4 condos to have the property to ourselves for our wedding weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect at the Trailside Suites! Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the North Shore!

Summary: Wonderful stay. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay with 1 of your properties. Very relaxing. Next time though we will pay the extra and get the top condo. A nice addition would be a light under the counter in the .kitchen

Summary: We loved our stay here! It was very close to all the hikes we wanted to do in Tettegouche & Goodeberry. We really enjoyed the deck & outdoor fire pits. It was a cozy place for an early fall weekend getaway. The only negative was we were in the lower unit & you can hear all the footsteps from the people upstairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Great location. We hiked State park trails and biked to Gooseberry Falls, both right from property. Property amenities were very nice with firepit and sauna. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. I think we were hoping for a bit more lake view (distant, across highway, partial behind trees), but trail views were just lovely. Thanks for a great stay!
