Positive: Honestly There is not much not ro like about this beautiful place. Mapleton is stunning little town take you back in time and the Koala cabins is a peaceful retreat.
Negative: No laundry its a place where you want to stay and not go anywhere so a laundry would be beneficial.

Positive: Very clean. Check in was easy. Staff nice. Location close to shops.
Negative: I didn't like having a camera mounted above the front door to the cabin and adjacent to the outdoor table and chairs. Very unhappy regarding the $55 PER NIGHT fee to have a pet. Average fee for pets on booking.com is $5 to $20 a night. I've been booking accom on this platform since 2009 and have never encountered such a fee, especially since the accom is so basic - with vinyl and tiled floors, no mats etc. I did not find out about this fee until I had booked and paid. An alternative could be to ask for a deposit and return it if no pet mess or damage. In contrast to every other pet friendly place that I have stayed, there were no dog bowls, toys or bedding so if people don't bring their own, they'd be using the kitchen's crockery for food/water bowls for pets. The cabins seem to have people living in them as opposed to holiday rentals so the place had a caravan park vibe rather than a holiday cabin vibe. Very basic accommodation. I paid for three nights, stayed one. Checked out after one night and went to similar priced, excellent accom at Maleny.

Negative: The shower head wasn't enjoyable to use with low water pressure. Pool gate locked and couldn't use. Front door glass panels not very private.
